泥んこ遊びとリンゴ

　今朝もまだ馬場は湿っていて、どうするかちょっと思案しましたが結局放牧しました。1時間以上放しましたが嬉しいらしく活発に動き回りました。ヨーク（ラブラドル）がパパとママに連れられて通りかかりました。
シャル君が埒沿いについて歩くので、ヨークのママが自分のかじりかけのリンゴをシャル君にあげました。ほとんど丸ごとに近かったのでシャル君はくわえたまま戸惑っていました。
私が手に取って半分に割りシャル君とヨークにそれぞれ与えました。ヨークはシャル君の届かない距離にさっと離れて食べ始めました。やはり犬は賢いですね。

The ground was still moist. I hesitated to let Charle roam. I knew he would lie down and roll.
After that his coat would be covered with mud.
But for his sake I let him roam. He looked so happy and sure thing he was muddy.
At that time a York (dog Labrador) with his pa and ma passed by.
Charle found them far away, and waited until they were really close.
And he walked along the fence with them.
York's ma was nibbling an apple and tried to gave a whole apple to Charle.
He held it in his mouth but could not nip. Because it was too big.
So I took it away and split it into two.
One was for York and the other was for Charle.
York was away from Charle at once and started eating. Clever dog!
