健康診断

夏は体力消耗が激しいので睡眠は大切です。

今日は獣医さんによる健康診断の日でした。

触診の結果、内臓的なものには異常はなさそうです。

血液検査の結果は後日として、気になっている前肢の跛行ですが、

年齢的な腰の衰えからきてるようです。

後肢を前肢でかばいその負担で前肢が少し弱ってきているようです。

年老いた人間が杖が必要なように、シャル君に合う前肢の蹄鉄に変えてもらうことにしました。

歯もすり減ってきているので少しずつ柔らかいごはんにかえていく必要がでてきました。

Today was the day of the veterinary health examination.

Based on the physical examination, there doesn't seem to be any abnormalities in the internal organs.

The results of the blood test will be available later, but concerning the lameness in the front limbs that I'm worried about,

it appears to be due to age-related weakening of the back.

The front limbs have become slightly weaker due to the burden of supporting the hind limbs with the front ones.

Just like elderly humans need canes, we have decided to change the front horseshoes to ones that are suitable for Sharu to help him with his front limbs.

His teeth have also worn down, so we need to gradually switch to softer food.
