街路樹のイチョウもほとんど散り、日暮れには冷たい空気のなかに月が煌々と輝いています。夜は冷えるようになりました。

でも今日は日中は穏やかに晴れ、乗馬日和でした。

シャル君はもうすぐ27歳、寒さに強いといってもやはり老齢馬です。馬着の調整はかかせません。

夜は厚めの馬着を着ていますが、運動のための馬装や手入れの時には脱がさなければいけません。

それで繋ぎ場で立っている間に着る暖かいラグを買ってあげました。

これからくる寒い日にはきっと役にたつでしょう。

However, today was a sunny and calm day, perfect for horseback riding.

Sharu-kun will soon be 27 years old. While he’s resistant to the cold, he is still an elderly horse, so adjusting his rugs is essential.

At night, he wears a thicker rug, but for grooming and tacking up before exercise, it has to be removed.

To keep him warm while standing in the cross-tie area, I bought him a cozy rug.

It will surely come in handy on the cold days ahead.
