I still haven't found what I'm looking for

主催のKOBE Mass Choir　クリスマスゴスペルコンサートがあった。
ゴスペル風の讃美歌もたくさん歌って気持ちがよかった。

I still haven't found what I'm looking for [ 終りなき旅 ]
がよかった。実は、歌っている「Ｕ２」、ＣＤでみたことがあるが、読み方もしらなかった。
さっそくＴＳＵＴＡＹＡで借りてきた。

この歌、KOBE Mass Choir　のリーダー川上盾さんのホームページに以下のようにある。

アイルランド出身のロックバンド、"Ｕ２"のレパートリー。
彼らのドキュメントフィルム「魂の叫び」の中で、ハーレムの教会のクワイアと一緒に歌っていたのが、この歌。
「まだ探してるものは見つからない、でも必ず神の国は来る。やがて全ての色はひとつに混ざり合うだろう。」
自由への闘いを表現した曲です。

この歌、かなり有名なようで、いろんなホームページにでてくる。

大学の先生の英語教材としても紹介されている。
