祈りを通して、私たちは世界中で神の働きに参加することができます。

Through prayer, we can participate in God's work all over the world.

マタイ 7:7-11 7 「求めよ、そうすれば与えられる。捜せ、そうすれば見つかる。門をたたけ、そうすれば開かれる。 8 「すべて求める者は受け、捜す者は見つけ、門をたたく者には開かれる。 9 「また、あなたがたのうちに、自分の子がパンを求めるのに、石を与える者がいるだろうか。 10 「また、魚を求めるのに、蛇を与えるだろうか。 11 「このように、あなたがたは悪い者であっても、自分の子供には良い贈り物を与えることを知っているとすれば、天におられるあなたがたの父はなおさら、求める者に良いものを下さらないことがあろう。

Matthew 7:7-11 7 ``Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 ``For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 ``Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? 10 ``Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? 11 ``If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

2テモテ2:13 13 たとえ私たちが不信仰であっても、神は忠実です。なぜなら、神はご自身を否定することができないからです。

2 Timothy 2:13 13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

尋ねる人は答えを得ます。探す人は見つけます。ノックする人にはドアが開かれます。頭文字「A-S-K」は、「尋ねる、探す、ノックする」ことを思い出すのに役立ちます。

Those who ask will receive answers. Those who seek will find. Those who knock will have the door opened. The acrostic “A-S-K” will help us remember to “ask, seek, and knock.”

天の父は、私たちが祈ることを望んでおられます。それは、祈りが神を敬うためだけでなく、コミュニケーションが神に近づく助けとなるからです。さらに、祈りは私たちを世界における神の働きに結び付けます。あなたはどこにいても、誰のためにでも祈ることができ、全宇宙の神があなたの祈りを聞いて答えてくださると確信できます。

Our heavenly Father wants us to pray, not only because it honors Him but also because communicating helps us grow closer to Him. What’s more, prayer connects us to His work in the world. You can pray for anyone anywhere and have confidence that the God of the entire universe will hear you and answer.

このため、祈りは神の御業に携わる最良の方法の一つです。神の子供たちを助け、神の創造物に影響を与えてくださるよう神に祈ることで、神の使命に参加できるのは、なんと素晴らしい特権なのでしょう。

主が私たちに祈るよう指示するもう一つの理由は、主への信仰を築くためです。罪深い人間でさえ、自分の子供に贈り物をします。神は、神に求める者に良い贈り物を与えることをどれほど喜ばれることでしょう（マタイ7:11）。主はまた、私たちの祈りに答え、私たちが歩み、証しする中でより大胆になるのを見るのも喜ばれます。

Another reason the Lord instructs us to pray is to build our faith in Him. Even sinful men give gifts to their children. How much more does our God enjoy giving good gifts to those who ask Him (Matt. 7:11)! The Lord also loves to answer our prayers and see us grow bolder in our walk and witness.

神の言葉は、神は「自分を否定することができない」ので忠実であると言っています（テモテへの手紙二第2章13節）。毎日、神と話し、神に耳を傾ける時間を確保してください。そうすれば、この真理を直接学ぶことができます。

God’s Word tells us that He is faithful because “He cannot deny Himself” (2 Timothy 2:13). Be certain to set aside time every day to speak with and listen to Him. Then you will learn this truth firsthand.
