学生负担严重“倒挂”

信息时报讯 (记者 梁健敏 通讯员穗教宣) “该轻负担的年龄段重负担,该重负担时反而没负担!” 昨日,全国优秀中学校长教育思想研讨会在执信中学召开,针对目前学校眼里只有成绩,没有学生,只关注成功,不关注成长的现象,首个做报告的执信中学校长何勇炮轰道:层层加码让学生负担“倒挂”,到了大学反而无心向学;而在美国,年龄越大负担越大,这才是符合学生身心发展规律的。
一、学生负担“倒挂”严重
“不要让孩子输在起跑线,这一观点是错误的!” 中国教育问题多多,而最让何勇深恶痛绝的是学生负担“倒挂”的现象。 他认为,在这一错误观点的影响下,中小学生学习内容普遍前移,幼儿园开始学习小学的内容;小学阶段开始拼命补课;初中、高中层层加码,毕业年级更是加班加点,机械训练,周考、月考、段考、模拟考,面对成绩的起起伏伏,学生承受着巨大的精神压力和心理的煎熬。
然而,最终考上大学后反而找不到目标了,没有压力了,不少学生出现了心理补偿的现象,在十八九岁最该学习、也是学习能力最强的阶段反而追求玩乐,精神萎靡。
“但是,我在美国看到的情况是不一样的,在美国小学生的负担很小,哈佛每个图书馆晚上开灯都开到3~4点,一位在哈佛读书的研究生告诉我,要想在哈佛博士毕业,每天睡觉不超过6小时。” 他认为,人的年龄越大、负担越大,这才是比较合理的。
二、育应回归生活
何勇认为,现实的教育生活是不完整的教育生活。“我们的教育关注考试和分数而很少关注教育的现实意义,很多学校只是为了拿到更高的升学率和更多的毕业生考取顶尖名校,不考虑学生长远发展需要。为了升学,可以放弃与升学考试无关的一切事情。”他认为,学生发展存在无限可能,不完整的教育生活关闭了学生发展的很多门窗。
何勇说,现在教师和学生的教育生活变味了,“怎么办?我们需要还原师生完整的教育生活!” 怎样才算是“完整”?他说,我们所追求的完整的教育生活,是教育过程中既能够关注师生成就,又能够关注师生身、心、智统一的完整的教育生活。怎么来还原?其中一个法宝就是把育回归生活,在实践中强调尊重学生、民主管理。

Ho said, there are a lot of problems in China education, the 1st thing that he care about is Students' studying burden arenot suitable their ages. He said, according to this theory, middle school & primary school normally move their course forward, that is students begin to study courses in the primary school while they are still in kindergarten; students begin to hardly study courses in their spare time(resting days) while they are still in kindergarten; students do as they do in the primary school while in the middle school(junior school & high school), and parents give, teachers give, school give, education manager department give..., burden were added. It is to the most serious situation when students are at the graduating grade period. Students must face a great amout of exams and tests - mechanical exercises, weekly test, monthly test, period test, mock test... facing a lot of different points that they got in every test, students mental and physical have bare a huge pressure.
At last, when they really go into university, all pressures suddenly disappear, too, they suddenly lose their fighting goals. In their mind, a lot of them begin to want to compensation for their past life. At their ages of 18-19, the suitable and powerful studying age, they just pursue funny and honey, no goal in their lives.
"But in USA, I could see the totally different thing. In the primary school of USA, students have just light burden of study. Buy every libary of Harvard University, all turn off the lights at about 3-4am, " 1 student who studys in the graduate school at Harvard School told me, "If someone who want to graduate at here, he couldnot sleep more overf 6hours a day." And he think,"With someone's age growing, his studying burden become more heavy is suitable the nature rule."
2. Moral education should come back.
Now, the reality education isnot complete. Our education just stare at exam & points, almost noone think over the reality meaning of education. A lot of school just stare at enrolment rate & the number of students who could go into famous-university. They never concern what are the students' future necessaries. In order to get the high score for them, they could cancle every activies that donot relative with enrolment rate. " He think, there are infinitely many possibilites at every students' development. This kind of bring mode by uncomplete education, have closed many windows of students' future-life.
Ho said, "Now, in our society, teachers & students education life have been change. They lose original education meaning.""How to do? We need to resume teachers' & students' ture complete education life. " "What is complete life? The complete education life is that way that we could no only pursue the success of them, but also at the same time, we all purse the healthy & united of their mental, intelligent & physical development."
"How to do it?""1way of this is, " Moral education should come back, should join the students' lives. In the practice, we should respect students, should allow students democraticly manage themselves.
