ウーバー　日本で配車事業

　Uber Technologies Inc. aims to

introduce its ride-hailing services

across Japan in around 2020 by joining

hands with local taxi firms, its

chief executive has said.

It marks a shift in its market

strategy for the country as Uber's key

ride-sharing service involving

private vehicles has challlenged

by Japanese regulations.


　ウーバー・テクノロジーズの経営トップ

は、日本各地のタクシー会社と提携し２０２０

年をめどに配車サービスの全国展開を目指す

と表明した。

　ウーバーの主力である自家用車を使った

ライドシェア（相乗り）サービスが日本の

規制上問題とされてきたため、市場戦略を

転換する。

自分に打ち勝ち「金」獲得

Japanese figure skating superstar

Yuzuru Hanyu captured his second

successive Olympic gold medal at the

Pyeongchang Winter Games, overcoming a

serious injury to his right ankle.

"I was able to conquer myself more

than anything," said Hanyu after

becoming the first skater to defend

the men's title in 66 years.


ピョンチャン冬季五輪で日本のフィギュアスケート男子、

羽生結弦選手が右足首の大けがを乗り越えて、五輪二連覇

となる金メダルを獲得した。

フィギュア男子で６６年ぶりに五輪王座を守った羽生選手は、

「何より自分に勝てた」と振り返った。

「世界最後の日」残り２分

The Doomsday Clock, created in 1947

by atomic scientists to symbolize the

risk of man-made global disaster, has

ticked to its closest point to

"midnight," or the last day of the world.

The scientists moved the clock

forward by 30 seconds to two minutes

to midnight amid an increasing threat

of nuclear war.


　人間が地球規模の大惨事を引き起こすり

スクを象徴的に示そうと、原子力科学者ら

が１９４７年に生み出した「終末時計」は、

世界最後の日を意味する「午前０時」に最も

近づいた。

　科学者らは、核戦争の脅威が高まってい

ることを受け、時計を３０秒進めて残り２分

とした。
