http://www.51due.net/online-tutoring/writing-skills/sample32484.html

A discussion of influence of globalization on Judo in Japan

2018-03-02 15:54:51 | 日記
下面为大家整理一篇优秀的paper代写范文- A discussion of influence of globalization on Judo in Japan,供大家参考学习,这篇论文讨论了全球化对日本柔道的影响。

Judo in Japanese means "gentle way". It partly originates from an ancient empty-handed wrestling techniques of Japanese warrior. Players won the game by knocking the opponent to the ground. Now, it has become a sports widely practiced by people all over the world. In this article, it is to have a discussion of influence of globalization on Judo in Japan.

Globalization not only promotes Japan's judo development all over the world with the establishment of world organizations, but also has brought many new rules to it. ‘‘Flow’’ is regarded by /Appadurai as one basic feature of globalization in 1996(Blommaert &Omoniyi, 20006:575). Japan has dispatched a large number of judo coaches to Europe, the United States and other regions. With establishment of International Judo Federation, there is much more frequent interactions and flows of Judo. It thus becomes a world level sports competition project in the 1950s. It was the only item in the Olympic Games that allowed the use of choking or twisting to subdue opponents. In the 1970s, women's judo was to carry out in the world. In 1978, the International Judo Federation officially decided to host the women's judo competition, and made specific provisions of women's competition. This decision to a large extent to promote the rapid development of women's judo movement. However, some changes of the game is very necessary to make the judo become the world's widely accepted sports competition project. The changes included such as the use of weight division; the reform of methods to determine the outcome and so on. Before, Japan's judo competition is not divided according to level of body weight . Thus, the Judo game is reshaped by international practice as well.

http://www.51due.net/writing/research-paper/sample32482.html

With the acceleration of the pace of globalization of judo movement, Japan has been unable to dominate the world, although they are still an important force. As the judo spread in Asia, Japan suffered from challenges and impact from South Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Iran, Uzbekistan and other teams. In Europe such as France, and the Americas such as Brazil, there are also some very strong teams. According to International Judo Federation, there are more 431 athletes in Russia, 319 athletes in Germany and by contrast, there are only 197 athletes in Japan(IJF.org, 2017). These teams have posed a great threat to the Japanese team and challenges. Judo learning is not only to learn from Japan, but also is the international study for an improvement of the overall level of judo. One reason for the weakening of Japan power is that Japan attaches great importance to tradition, and too rigidly sticks to old tricks. As more and more European and American players participate in judo projects, making the key to winning judo is no longer pay attention to techniques, but power. So regular Japanese male judo players are not dominant; especially the heavyweight project, as the Japanese male athletes in the physical condition can not be compared with the European players. Thus, globalization means more fierce competition for Japanese Judo players.

Today's development of Judo is closely related to the globalization. But in order to adapt to international competitions such as the World Championships and the Olympic Games judo competition, there was the introduction of the use of weight division. Now judo is no longer Japan's own movement, but is part of the world. Japan judo is also under more and more impact and challenge.

Paper代写:The fish fillet industry

The development of fish fillet industry mostly depends on three factors—marine resources, fishing technology and processing technology. The top five fisheries are North Pacific Fishery, Southeast Pacific Fishery, Northwest Atlantic Fishery, Northeast Atlantic Fishery and Southeast Atlantic Fishery. According to the data provided by OEC, the top five exporters of Fish Fillets are China, Chile, Norway, Vietnam and the United States, all close to these fisheries. Mostly, the fish fillet industry depends on the fishing technology rather than breeding technology. Therefore, it is obvious that these top exporters are all relatively marine-resource abundant according to Figure One. Even all the countries possess the same productivity, these exporters all gain the comparative advantage because they possess more raw materials to produce the fish fillets. Furthermore, some of these exporters also possess demographic dividend, for instance the wage of workers in China is lower than the wage in the U.S. Therefore, from the perspective of labor abundance, China, Chile and Vietnam gain the comparative advantage which can reduce the cost. Moreover, some of these exporters obtain the offshore fishing technology and low-cost processing technology, which can be deemed as the higher productivity level compared with others. Therefore, due to their comparative advantage, these countries become the top five exporters of fish fillets in the whole world.

As for the top importers of fish fillets, most countries do not purchase fish fillets as intermediate goods. Therefore, the top five importers of fish fillets, the U.S., Japan, Germany, France and the U.K., all consume the fish fillets as foods because of their traditional tastes. Due to the exist of a number of substitutes and the relatively competitive market in the whole world, the sellers in the fish fillets are not endowed with too much power to set the market price. But due to the fish fillet as a necessity according to the consumers’ preference, the buyers do not possess the bargaining power, either.

http://www.51due.net/writing/research-paper/sample32481.html

Among these top exporters, countries like China and Norway, gain benefits from their increasing returns to scale. Their processing sector influenced by the scale effect, can achieve increasing returns to scale. Thus China would prefer to import the raw material of fish fillets and take the mission to process the raw material at a low cost (Figure Two). Fish Fillets, compared with other aquatic products, can be categorized as a high value-added product.

Due to the regulatory environment, in some countries, the market of fish fillets is incomplete competitive. Most developed countries, for instance the U.S., in order to protect the ecological system, set the quotas to shield some species from over-fishing. Therefore, compared with those enterprises in the developing countries, these companies have to afford more overhead costs to obtain the fishing licenses or fishing quotas. Therefore, the market in China, Vietnam and those countries without regulation is relatively highly competitive. According to the Product Complexity Index given by OEC, it is obvious that this market does not have too many technological barriers to entry. Enterprises in the fish fillets industry do not have to pay much attention to breeding technology. When they export their fish fillets, they only have to meet the requirements of processing, which are much easier to be achieved by even those small-size or mid-size business. Consequently, due to the highly competitive market, the price of fish fillets in these countries will be lower.

Although the processing procedure of fish fillets can be viewed as homogeneous, the raw material of fish fillets has many varieties. Therefore, the top exporters are from different continents. Due to the distinct preferences of consumers, the top importers are mainly European and American countries.

Essay代写:Whether to Preserve Chinese Dialects or Not

Introduction

It is common sense that different places are with different dialects and the exclusive dialect in a certain place will pass on from generations to generations. Dialect tends to become one part of the culture of that place and it means quite much for the great majority of people. So a fair knowledge can be obtained that people will hold that it is of great significance to preserve the dialects for its being the legacy and they will spare no efforts to make it. However, some people argue that it is of necessity to implement the common and standard language for the sake of the unity of people from different places. Therefore the following will explore whether it is necessary to preserve Chinese dialects or not, during which the perspectives of different scholars and their works will be applied for better illustration. Dialects are closely inter-related with history because the history is right the process of our using the dialects and dialects are passed down from our ancestors over generations.

Whether to Preserve Chinese Dialects or Not

First and foremost comes that many people deem that Chinese dialects should be protected in that many traditions and cultures are passed down in the form of language. To put it more specifically, the news video offered by Al Jazeera has stated a phenomenon that hundreds of people carried out a protest in Hong Kong against the change of the language of local TV program from Cantonese dialect to Mandarin in Guangzhou- the capital of Guangdong Province (Al Jazeera. 2010). Those protests aim to keep the local dialects as a part of their culture and people would ensure the integrity of their culture via guaranteeing that the dialect still exists. And the rationale why Al Jazeera would choose to object the change of the language lies in that the value of dialect has been recognized and dialect has already been endowed with an extraordinary role in the heart of the large number of people. It can be understood in this way that dialects are not simply as dialects and they have already become a kind of symbol of their own sense of belonging and sense of honor toward their own culture. Dialects can not be violated in any way and their dialects should be respected under whatever situation. Taking the great significance of sense of belonging and sense of honor toward their own culture into consideration, there is no doubt that the great majority of people will really spare no efforts to protect the dialects from disappearing in any way.

http://www.51due.net/writing/essay/sample32478.html

The same as Al Jazeera, Weibing Din has also agreed that dialects should be protected from disappearing in order for the integrity of culture. In the article of Weibing, he focuses on the Chaoshan dialect and he gives a lot of evidences that there are chaoshan dialect because of the usage of alliteration which is a phrase consisting of two or more characters with the same initial consonant (Weibing Din. 2011). And also in the old Chinese language we can illustrate two or more words in one. In Chaoshan dialect we also speak that way. Thus it can be easily imagined that Chaoshan dialect has its own distinct characteristics, which determines that it can not be replaced by other dialects (Shelley Tulloch. 2006). Or maybe it can be put in another way that once the Chaoshan dialect disappears, then the use of alliteration may be extinct from the world and people may not know how to use the alliteration in approaching days. It is obvious that the loss of the use of alliteration will be great damage for Chinese damage.

Just take myself as an example, my father is a Chaoshanese so that I am more familiar with this dialect. I used to live in the cities and I could not understand the Chaoshan dialect in the first beginning when I came back to the countryside. I had to admit that I felt distanced from there due to my being unable to understand the dialect. But such sense disappeared quite soon after my searching for a lot of videos about the Chaoshan dialect and listened to it from surrounding people. At the same time, I have learned that Chaoshan dialect has retained a lot of classical Chinese components afterwards and it is rather attractive to me that the Chaoshanese can use the old Chinese language so well. Personally speaking, I am in favor of the opinion of the necessity to preserve the Chinese dialects and it is important to prevent them from disappearing. I am sure that such thoughts are also many of others that speak the same dialect as me, and even those that speak their own dialects different from me. It seems that the preservation of dialects is the common dream of people speaking different dialects for a long time. James (2015) has offered various reasons toward why people will fight so hard to preserve endangered languages can just well specify why we would try our best to preserve our dialects.

Moreover, Matt Schiavenza has composed an article about saving China’s dying languages, during which the idea of preserving a language means preserving history has been emphasized (Matt Schiavenza. 2013). What history means to the wide public is known to each and every one of us and all of us hold that human beings can draw lessons from the past history so that they won’t make the same mistake again later on. And it is recommended that people should relate to the past history from time to time so that they can reflect on themselves much so as not to feel regretful when committing the same mistake over and over again in the future.

With the reasons of the necessity to preserve Chinese dialects being mentioned at length in the above, what follows is that it is crucial to uniform the use of Mandarin. The standard language Mandarin can be understood by people from all over the country so that they can all communicate with each other smoothly. In this way, it is obvious that it can help contribute to higher productivity more or less. Detailed speaking,
