友人に頼まれて

先月、お嬢さんの結婚式にオーストラリアに行ってこられたＳさんからラインをいただきました。

なんでもその時のビデオが送られてきたけど、英語なので理解できないということでした。

それで月曜日にビデオをみながら説明してあげることになりました。

そして予想もしなかったお嬢さんの人生の展開に、ご自分も英語を勉強したいから教えてほしいとのことでした。

新しい目的をもって何かを始めることは、何歳になっても素晴らしいことです。いずれお孫ちゃんと英語で話せる日を夢見て。

私もできるだけ協力してあげたいです。

I received a message on LINE from S-san, who went to Australia last month for her daughter's wedding.

She said that she received a video from the wedding, but couldn't understand it because it was in English.

So, I agreed to explain the video to her while watching it on Monday.

And unexpectedly, she was impressed by her daughter's life journey, and wanted me to teach her English because she also wants to study it.

Starting something new with a new purpose is a wonderful thing at any age.

Let's dream of the day when you can speak English with your grandchildren. I want to help as much as I can.
