Weblog
During the Edo period, worship of Mount Fuji spread among the common people, leading to the formation of faith organizations known as "Fuji-kō." To accommodate those unable to climb the mountain, miniature versions called "Fuji-zuka" were constructed across Japan, including many that remain in Tokyo today. These structures allowed worshippers to pay homage to Mount Fuji from a distance, reflecting the mountain's significance as a sacred site in Japanese culture.
