チップ代わりが２億円

　Two memos written by Albert Einstein

during his Tokyo stay in 1922 sold

for a total of ＄１．８ million at auction

in Jerusalem.

The Nobel laureate in physics gave

the papers to a Japanese bellboy in

place of a tip, saying they could be

worth much more than a standard tip in

the future.


アルバート・アインシュタインが１９２２年

の東京滞在中に書いた２枚のメモが、エルサレムの

競売で計１８０万ドル（約２億円）で売れた。

　ノーベル物理学賞受賞者のアインシュタインは、

いずれ通常のチップよりずっと価値が出るかもしれない

としてメモをチップ代わりに日本人のボーイに渡していた。
