私は、意識と意図を混同しやすいと思います。だからこそ、他人に対して何かを使って操作することは、意図的であるにもかかわらず、意識的であると思い込んでしまうのではないでしょうか。

It’s focused on unconsciousness. Unconscious behavior.

Perhaps I need more time to reflect on it but it strikes me as a paradox that one who is displaying unconscious behaviour(s) can make anyone act "...according to their intention...". I guess it is easy to confuse consciousness with intention, that is why one would assume that using anything against others to manipulate them is conscious, while it is only intentional.
