Dear you all,be sharing the prayer--I appreciate you--For very,very long time and in the severely high temperature, you have been sitting in this way together with us.
Although today is the last sit-in, persons of the families, we, have appealed eagerly to Prime Minister Koizumi for these three days.
"Let's see reality.It continues now , at this time.
My daughter Megumi, she has been captured at the age of 13. She was completely innocent. Suddenly taken on the way from the school. Put on the ship. Have been living, longing for the hometown, under authorities' watch in North Korea. Megumi has been confined in North Korea for about 30 years. Not only Megumi, each one--Ms.Rumiko (Masumoto), Ms.Keiko (Arimoto) ,Ms.Yaeko Taguchi, and Mr. Shuichi Ichikawa (Mr.Kaoru Matsuki and Mrs.Miyoshi Soga) -- in addition to them -- many -- many kidnaped victims--They, in the land over the sea, just at this time, looking up early evening sky which we are just looking up here and they be considering ""My hometown, Japan, in which how the sky will be ?-- in which the heat of daytime still remains? My father be getting old and whether my family are fine?"" Everyone should be living, longing for a hometown every day."
I wish -- children should be released to their original circumstances in the earliest date.
In order to realize it, (what should we do?) The Diet members who had visited North Korea repeatedly until now --many members had visited -- Especially, Ms. Takako Doi, Mr. Hiromu Nonaka and Mr.Ryutaro Hashimoto, they were continually calling "Abduction cannot be believed. Such a thing could not be found. " And Mrs. Makiko Tanaka, she is said that when Kim Jong-nam was restrained for illegal immigration, she called, "Return him in a hurry, Return. Should him return in a hurry". Thus, although I am exposing their name, I don't know whether it is suited for good sense. But we are sad truly.
Supposing your children were actually in such circumstances, then --. (since I think that those people might not be able to suppose--) I want to take out anyone's name to call. Now, in the stage North Korea accepts the abduction problem clearly I want to ask them, "How do you think? How do you consider? How do you feel us, victims' families? " and "What have you considered of the victims who are left in North Korea?" I always think that they should stop hiding, they should appear on television and they should speak before people clearly.
And I want to ask the workers of mass communication to help through the job. (why don't they cover to the politicians those things). Of course those Diet members are same Japanese as us and they've visited there repeatedly. I suspect they will surely know various things. Many times, I've felt they've known but tell nothing.
At the time of meeting the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or high-ranking government officials, "There is no your statement any -- but, do you get to know anything?" "Whether is she alive, is dead, what has happened, and where is she, or you know about someone's things?" -- I may sometimes ask them. However, their statement is "No, nothing are known."
Actually, this problem, the abduction problem of North Korea has been hidden into darkness. Although three families returned, other person's things are not known at all.
"This is Ms. Megumi's ashes, " they said and the bones were taken out , but those are completely different as a result of identification -- those belonged to two others. North Korea is a country has been performing such fearful cruel things. I feel sadness with why our government dose not face firmly to North Korea.
I think that ,as a matter of course, Japan should say clearly to them, ""We can't allow any longer,we will carry out sanctions."" "
People who came back might have many experiences for 24 years their living in North Korea. Since they returned through much trouble, Prime Minister Koizumi, the National Police Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the government, these officials must cooperate with the families of people who returned, to save them firmly, to protect them harmlessly. And then, please, all cooperate together to rescue the remained people. "What's a good way?""So how can we overcome to this problem?" like this, making plans, sharing the wisdom, I hope the Japanese government will carry out to solution with responsibility. ( otherwise the victims can't return to Japan. )
"They may have come back with precious knowledge. ( I guess that there are many things which haven't been informed us. Speaking with them, sometimes I feel they might know something.)
What's the way we can use their knowledge effectively? I'm sure it is necessary that all of us cooperate together, unite and unite the heart to solve the problem. ""The information means thus, so how should we do to rescue the people who are left"", like this, please make plans and perform concretely. Otherwise it cannot progress."
They returned with much trouble,--really overcoming many troubles--So the Nation has the responsibility and duty which guard them safely. Actually it is possible that some harms are added to them, so they must be protected carefully, of course. But on the other hand, I wish everybody may share the duty to make plans and to carry out them ,uniting all together, steadily,until truths are clarified.
Now, if economic sanctions are not carried out, I cannot think except it means that Japan, our country do not anything for its people. I want keenly Japan not to be such a deplorable country.
Prime Minister Koizumi -- it is a wish from us. Please help children. Thank you for your consideration.
