どんな料理があるかも分からず

初めての挑戦

Recently I went to a peru restaurant 
on Main and broadway.
It was called CHICHA.
We went in having no idea what kind of food to expect. 

 

 

初めての挑戦どの料理も彩り、味、最高

ビールで始まり美味しい料理を食べて

しめはチョコレートケーキ

幸せな時間でした

It was a new experience.
Every dish had good taste and presentation.
We had chocolate cake for dessert .
It was really nice.

Hello, It's been continuously sunny these days.
Summer finally is here!
How is everyone enjoying their summer?
Here at the Richmond branch, we decided to cut TOMOYA's
hair because it was way to long for the summer. 

カットしたのは、繊細さと豪快さを兼ね備えたSAYURI。
The one who cut his hair was the great SAYURI 

グッと男前度も上がりましたネ。
A big upgrade in for his manliness  

これで彼にもようやく夏がやってきましたー！！

now, Summer is finally here for him aswell.

先月、二週間ほどお休みを頂き

日本に行ってきました

やーーーーーーっぱり

　良い国　

そして両親の愛友達の愛を

いっぱいもらってきました

I recently took 2 weeks off to go to Japan. 
Japan is one good country.
I felt all the love from my family and friends. 

 

 

 

離れてみてから分かることが多いです

昔はありがとうと親に言うのも

恥ずかしかったけど、いまでは言わない方が

気持ち悪いくらいになりました

でもーーーハグはまだできませんね

カナダも大好きなので帰ってきた今

また、カナダを楽しみまーーーす

日本に帰るのにあたって、

協力してくれたみさこさん、スタッフのみんなにも感謝します

ありがとうございます

 
There are alot of things I only realized after being away.
In the past I was to embarassed to even say thank you to my parents.
Now I would feek weird not to say it,
but I'm still embarassed to give them hugs.
I love Canada too, so i felt very happy being back.
I plan to enjoy vancouver to the fullest.
I want to thank Misako-san and all the staff for helping me take this time off.

　１、美容師になったきっかけはなんですか？
Why did you decide to become a hairstylist?　　　　

　　　高校の時に校則が厳しく、何とか短くせずにやり過ごそうと
　　　友達の髪を切っていて、いいなと思いました。
My highschool regulations for hair length was pretty strict.
I used to cut my friends hair to barly make the regulations

２、美容師として心掛けている事はなんですか？
What do you focus on as a hairstlist?

　　　なるべく長持ちさせて、頻繁にカットをしなくてもいいように、
　　　丁寧にする事です。
to make styles that last longer. I try to be as precise and tidy as possible

３、日本で働いていた時との違いはなんですか？
What is the difference from working in Japan？

　　　刈り上げのニーズがとても多いことと、髪質の違い。
Short cuts seems to be more in demand here. 
Also the difference in hair types

４、カナダで働いていて驚いた事はありますか
Working here in Canada, what suprised you?

　　　この時期は日が長いせいもあるけど、仕事後に自分の時間が
　　　もてる事です。
It may be because the days are long, but I seem to have so much more time for myself after work

５、バンクーバーのおすすめはなんですか？|
What do you recommend in Vancouver?
　　　　来たばかりなので、これからいろいろな所に行たいです
I still just recently got here so I plan to explore vancouver more soon

The Chicken tortilla soup that they had was sooo goood.

最高です

揚げて細かくしたトルティーヤ
チキン
アボカド
とろとろのチーズ
いろいろなスパイス

絶対に自分では作れない味

アボットストリートとコルドバストリートの角にあります

是非、行ってみてください

Fried, then chopped up tortilla.
Chicken, avocado, melted cheese, and all kinds of spices.
A flavor that you cant make at home.
The restaurant is located at Abott and Cordova street.
Please give it a try.

We decided to go to the christmas market aswell!

ソーセージ　チーズ　クレープ

いろいろな食べ物があり

雑貨もたくさんありました

Sausages, cheese, crepe
There were all kinds of food aswell as goods!

マーケットの中には

小さいメリーゴーランドもあり

子供達が楽しそうに乗っていました

大人には　ホットワインがありましたよ

とても暖かい雰囲気のマーケットでした

at the center of the market place,
there was a big merry-go-round.
There were lots of kids having lots of fun.
For adults, there was some hot wine.
The market place was very nice and had a warm atmosphere.

Changing the hairstyle can have a big impact for anyone.
being able to manipulate and create hairstyles for people seemed very
rewarding.
日本で働いていた時との違いは感じますか？
Did you feel any difference from working in Japan?

お客様があまり髪型に迷いがなく、

だいたい自分のスタイルが決まっていることです

customers seem to know what they want.
Most customers have their own style that they always go too.
カナダに来て驚いたことはありますか？
Coming to Canada, were you surprised by anything

It depends on the district but where I am working now, in richmond, there are alot of asians.

バンデューセン ガーデン

先月、日本からの友達と

バンデューセンガーデン

に、行って来ました。

紅葉の時期に入ったばかりだったので

いろいろな木や葉の色が楽しめました。

周りの人たちはじっくり見てゆっくり歩いていましたが、

楽しみ方をイマイチ分かっていない私達は

３０分で園内を回り

その後　中で見つけたレストランに入り

ワインをオーダー

気づいたら３時間以上経過

何をしに行ったのか

でも、紅葉を見ながらのワイン

少し特別な気分でした

The other day, with my friend who is visiting from japan,
we went to Van dusen Gardern!

Since we entered fall, we got to experience
alot of different colored leaves and trees.
The people there were taking their time and enjoying the nature,
but we ended up finishing the route within 30min.
Maybe we dont know how to enjoy it properly
We went into a restaurant we found and ordered some wine.
Next thing we knew, 3 hours have passed.
Drinking wine while watching the leaves change.
It was a very special experience.

ワインを飲んで

パスタも食べて

This week we went to
VERACE,
located right infront of the stadium skytrain station.
The occasion was a farewell party for Memi who is getting married,
and Sayoko and Kae who stayed with us in canada for 1 year.
It was also Saori's birthday!
Drank lots of beer.
Ate 5 whole pizzas.
Drank lots of wine.
Ate some pasta.

We went to watch fireworks
at the celebration of light, which was held 3 times this year.
After work we rushed to english bay but there were
soo many people already.
there is a reason why so many people come to this event.

Last sunday,
we went to watch the parade on robson.
All the groups were very flashy

パレードでした

とても楽しかったです

Its possible to see somthing like this
because its outside of Japan.
Very glamorous costumes, outfits and makeup.
It was like a parade straight out from a dream

which was held at Kitslano

The weather was nice!
While everyone was walking around and enjoying the festival,
We ate,

家に帰りました

After that we had some beer!
Feeling good, we went home.
