Konoshima Shrine is more widely known as Kaiko no Yashiro. This was built around 603 as a protective shrine for the nearby Koryu-ji Temple established by Hata Kawakatsu. The shrine is notable for a peculiar triangular torii. And it is probably because it has such an unusual shape, this place is believed to be flowing with mystical energy.
Kaikono Yashiro, also known as Konoshima-jinja Shrine, is located in Kyoto, Japan. It is situated near the Uzumasa area and is accessible via the JR Sagano Line. The shrine is associated with various cultural and historical sites in the vicinity, including the Koryuji Temple and the Matsuo-taisha Shrine.
