第５１回グラミー賞(Grammy Awards)の受賞者は以下のとおりとなりました。サプライズはなしね。残念ながら、オールジャンルでのNew Artistでレディ・アンテベラムLady Antebellumは受賞を逃しました。でも、良くぞノミネートされました！
このオールジャンルのAlbum of the Yearやアメリカーナ部門などで、アリソン・クラウスとロバート・プラントのコンビがマルチ受賞の大活躍だったよう。またまたアリソンの女性アーティスト歴代一受賞数が一気に増えました。
その一方で、Best Traditional Folk AlbumでのKathy Mattea「Coal」やBest Contemporary Folk/Americana AlbumでのEmmylou Harris「All I Intended to Be」は、ひそかに期待しましたが、受賞ならずでした。

何かキックス・ブルックスなんかもラジオで彼はとったことないなんて前に言っていたような気が、、、。
