『モノラルをヘッドホンで聴きたい！vol.3』の続きです。
アダプターの試聴を準備していたところ
とても重要なことに気がつきました。
モノラルのはずの音源がモノラルではないようなのです！
念のためにリサージュ波形で確認しました。
リサージュ波形では
モノラルの場合は斜めの一直線になります。
ベートーヴェン 交響曲9番 / バイロイト音楽祭 フルトヴェングラー
ステレオの場合は一直線にはなりません。
マドンナ / ラッキースター
ということでいくつかの音源を確認しました。
Black Coffee / Peggy Lee
ローマの松 / トスカニーニ NBC響
ここまでは良かったのですが
次の音源では・・・
Don't Be That Way / ベニーグッドマン 1938 カーネギーホール
なんとモノラルではありませんでした。
マスタリングの段階で擬似ステレオにしたのでしょうか？？

While preparing the audition of an adapter,
I noticed the very important thing.
The sound source of a monophonic recording is not a monophonic recording!
It checked by the Lissajous curve for the sense.
With a Lissajous curve
In the case of a monophonic recording, it becomes a slanting straight line.
Beethoven Symphony No.9 / Bayreuth festival Furtwangler
In the case of a stereo, it is not a straight line.
Madonna / Lucky star
Some sound sources were checked.
Black Coffee / Peggy Lee
The pine of Rome / Toscanini NBC
It was good so far.
In the following sound source...

It was not a monophonic recording!
Did it change into the stereo by mastering??
