『ミサイル用真空管？？？レイセオン5755 vol.10』の続きです。

5755を使用してラウドネス回路を設計してみました。

コイルを使用することでシンプルにできました。



可変抵抗器を操作することで2～10dB(100Hz)の調整が可能です。

グリッドの1メガオームはグリッドの電位を安定させる為のものです。

次回に続きます。

大垣市上石津町一之瀬地区では早咲きの桜が満開です。



牧田川堤防にはたくさんのソメイヨシノがあります。



満開は4月中旬ごろでしょうか。

The loudness circuit was designed using 5755.

It was able to do simply by using a coil.



Adjustment of 2-10 dB (100 Hz) is possible by operating a variable resister.

1 megaohm of a grid is a thing for stabilizing the potential of a grid.

an early cherry tree is in full bloom.



There are many cherry trees (Somei Yoshino) in the Makita river bank.



Full bloom thinks the middle of April.

『ミサイル用真空管？？？レイセオン5755 vol.9』の続きです。

ラウドネス回路で名作と言われている？のは1960年代の

マランツのアンプに搭載されていた回路です。



部品を集めてこの回路を検証してみました。



この回路の特徴はラウドネスの可変抵抗器を操作しても

中域のゲインが変化しない点です。

また、部品点数も少なく、実によく考えられています。

欠点といえば、

使用している可変抵抗器が１メガオームと非常に高いため

ノイズが混入し易いこと。

また、出力インピーダンスが非常に高いため

真空管のグリッドへ接続するしかありません。

トランジスターやオペアンプに接続すると特性が悪化する可能性があります。

A typical loudness circuit is a circuit carried

in the amplifier of Marantz of the 1960s.



Parts were collected and this circuit was verified.



Even if the feature of this circuit operates the variable resister of loudness,

it is the point that a midrange gain does not change.

Moreover, there are also few parts and they are wonderful.

Since variable resisters are 1 megaohm and high resistance,

a fault tends to mix a noise.

Moreover, since output impedance is high,

connecting with the grid of a vacuum tube only occurs.

If it connects with a transistor or an operational amplifier,

the characteristic may get worse.

『ミサイル用真空管？？？レイセオン5755 vol.8』の続きです。

最近のプリアンプはとてもシンプルで

トーンコントロールやラウドネスといった機能は割愛させています。

しかし、こういった機能は場合によっては有効なのです。

5755は増幅率も高くこれらの回路には使いやすい真空管です。

環境庁の基準によると

ステレオやピアノの音量は90dBとされています。

普通の会話の音量は60dBです。

60dBでは90dBと比較するとで、低域と高域が10dB程低くなっています。

オーディオは大きな音で聴く時ばかりではありません。

小さな音の場合、

人間の耳は低域と高域が30%程しか聴こえません。

これを補正して、あたかも90dBで聴いているような迫力をだすという回路です。

そんなに上手くいく？という気はしますが

ラウドネス回路を設計してみましょう。

The present preamplifier is very simple.

According to the standard of the Environment Agency,

the volume of a stereo or a piano is 90 dB.

The volume of an ordinary conversation is 60 dB.

In 60 dB, bass and treble are low about 10 dB as compared with 90 dB.

An audio is not necessarily heard to an always loud sound.

In the case of a small sound,

bass and about 30% of treble can be heard with man's ear.

It is the circuit of taking out force which rectifies this and is being heard at 90 dB.

Let's design a loudness circuit.

せっかくなので、他のボリュームもテストしました。

まず、CTSです。





このメーカーのボリュームはギターアンプでの評価がとても高くなっています。

マッキントッシュのアンプでも使用されています。

このボリュームはクールな音質です。

マジメで「正確な音」というイメージです。

次に東京光音です。




これは可変抵抗ではなく1\8wの金属皮膜抵抗によるアッテネーターです。

このメーカーはBTS規格の放送機器等に使用する

高信頼性のボリュームを生産しています。

音はハイスピードで現代的。

反面、冷たく、面白みは少ないと思います。

Other volumes were tested.

First, it is CTS.



This maker's volume has high evaluation with guitar amplifier.

It is used with the amplifier of Macintosh.

This volume is cool sound quality.

It is the image "an exact sound."

Next, it is TKD.



This is attenuator by not a variable resistor but the metal film persistence of 1\8w.

This maker produces the high reliability volume

for the broadcast equipment of a BTS standard.

The volume of high reliability is produced.

Sound is modern at high speed.

On the other hand, it is a cold sound.

『ミサイル用真空管？？？レイセオン5755 vol.6』の続きです。

5755のバッファアンプにAllen-Bradley社のボリュームをつけて

簡易プリアンプとし、試聴しました。

当社では標準品としてatt30パッシブアッテネーターを使用しています。

こちらは一般のボリュームに比べてシャープでハイスピードです。

これに対して、Allen-Bradley社のボリュームですが、

意外に『美しい音』です。

かつてのAllen-Bradleyはもっと中域が張った元気の良い音という印象でしたが

現代のものは余韻をとてもきれいに再生します。

ひとつひとつの音の分離が良く、音場が豊かです。

att30とは異なる方向ですが、

これはこれで、捨てがたい音です。

It is a continuation of "Vacuum tube Raytheon 5755 for missiles??? vol.6"

The volume of Allen-Bradley was attached to the buffer amplifier of 5755

to make a simple preamplifier, and it tried listening.

We are using att30 passive attenuator as standard goods.

This is sharp in comparison with ordinary volume.

And it is high speed.

On the other hand, the volume of Allen-Bradley is

"a beautiful sound" unexpectedly.

Once Allen-Bradley gave the impression of

a fine good sound which the inside region stretched more.

A present-day thing reproduces a hole tone very finely.

Separation of the sound of each is good and a sound stage is rich.

It differs from att30.

However, it is a good sound.
