ARE WE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OFFENSIVE ACTS OF OUR PARENTS OR GRAND-PARENTS WHILE IN WAR?
ARE WE TO COMPENSATE FOR THEM?

"We can not choose
-in which country to be born
-when to be born
So we are no responsible for the acts which our parents or our ancestors do.
It is no natural that we take responsibilities for the acts which we can not help letting it go"




However, if we can not choose where and when to be born,
it is also possible that our parents or grandparents are the victims.
What if we are born
-where the rain of the bomb falls everyday?
-where there is nothing to eat or drink?
-to parents or grandparents who has being living their lives in sadness,
and their sadness owes to the offensive acts of other poeple
who have already died so can not make apologies any longer?


Who can heal us?
Even if we are hurted and the faults are not of ours at all,
we shall just live strong without expecting compensations from others.




Compensations or apologies for the acts of our ancestors are not the issue of duty
it is the issue of the sensitivity, compassion, warm-heartedness...
Not that we apologize because we are responsible,
We apologize because we are the only ones who can apologize, who can be the most warmest hearted ones to the hurted.

Cambodian People, and a little bit about the World

some look happy,
some look not,

only a very few of them in the country,
only a very small part of this world


little kids say
"give me 1 dollar",
i thought i could not help just passing them by
if i would not give them money.

but it was not so,

some travelers make them smile, happy
without giving them a dollar, a cent, even without a candy.
no possession necessary to make them smile

where everybody do not demand anything,
nobody fall short of anything

we are happier when saying thanks to, be grateful to others
than when we claim others of something

communications, societies, world is very complicated,
if we are in trouble, or if we need help of others
we can just honestly say so, but sometimes we do not.
instead, we make up complicated arguments, justfication, authority, reasons to justify our claims, requirements, acts...

may everything go just straightly to someone whe honestly needs it.

it is just a cosmetic nice word
but the nice word is called a "nice word" just because it is right.
