では計算してみましょう。
誰もが知っている小型スピーカーということでLS-3/5Aで計算してみます。
このスピーカーは私も以前使っていましたが味わい深い音がします。
スペックは83dB for 2.83V @1m インピーダンス11Ωです。
地下鉄の車内（80dB）程度の音を出す場合
スピーカとリスナーの距離が2mとして、
パワーアンプで必要な出力を計算すると6.5Wとなります。
意外と少ないとおもいませんか？
ところがこれには落とし穴があり、
インピーダンスの11オームは周波数に対して一定ではなく
高いところでは80オーム程になります。
この数値で再計算するとパワーアンプは47W必要！ということになります。
メーカーでは30～80Wのアンプを薦めています。
もしスピーカーインピーダンスが11オーム一定であれば
6.5WでOKなのですが・・・
インピーダンスを一定にすることは
小出力でクオリティの高い真空管パワーアンプが使えるというメリットが発生します。

I calculate.
I calculate by LS-3/5A of the small speaker which everyone knows.
I was also using this speaker before, there is deep sound in it.
Spec.: 83dB for 2.83V @1m Impedance 11 ohm
A sound of a subway in the car (80 dB) is made.
When the distance of a loudspeaker and listeners is 2 m,
it will be set to 6.5W if a required output is calculated with power amplifier.
Don't you think that it is few with it being unexpected?
However, there is a problem in this calculation.
The impedance of 11 ohms is not constant to frequency.
In a high, it becomes about 80 ohms.
When it re-calculates at 80 ohms, power amplifier is 47W necessity.
A maker recommends the amplifier of 30-80W.
6.5W may be sufficient as long as speaker impedance is constant 11 ohms.
By keeping impedance constant,
the high vacuum tube power amplifier of a quality can be used by low power.
