風邪で引きこもり中の我が家に届いたのは、
ハワイからおとりよせしてたCDたち。
おおおっ。すっかり忘れてたので喜びも倍増。一気に明るくなった。
買ったのは
PueoのHe aloha
AmyのGeneration Hawai'i
Ahumanuのthe gathering
CDはいつもハワイからオーダーするの。
ハワイから買うことによってハワイの文化をサポートすることになるかな、と思って。
エイミーは結婚して子供ができたかしら、なんだろう
いつもより、よりおちついて大人っぽくなってる感じ。
安心して聞いてられる感じっていうか丸くなったって感じかな。
今までのエイミーのなかで一番のお気に入りになりそう。
プエオは連れの好きなシンガーで、待望の新作。
こちらもエイミー同様に大人っぽくなったっていうか自信に裏付けされた感じ。
最後のはジャケ買い。何曲かあれってのがあったけど、何曲かはすごい好きな曲だった。
今のハワイのはやりなのかな。紙のジャケットですごいきれいなの。
３つとも紙のジャケットで中の写真もすごくきれい。
最近はハワイアンミュージックばっかりだな・・・
なんか作られすぎてなくて、アコースティックで好き。
細かい音できかせるんじゃなくて、もっと人間が全面にでてるの。
That was a good timing; the CD’s I ordered arrived today. We are still in the middle of recovering from a nasty flu. I haven’t ordered CDs for a long time, because I was waiting Uluwehi’s new CD to be released. 1 year ago, I read his interview and he said he was making a new one. So I thought he was nearly finished and would release it soon. But yes, there is the phrase ‘Hawai’ian time’. I suppose he forgot about it or he is still making it, or he changed his mind. Never mind. I can wait as long as he wants. I ordered Pueo’s and Amy’s new CDs. My husband likes Pueo, I don’t know why. Well, I like his music, but not as much more as him. Maybe his music sounds 100% Hawai’an, and maybe it gives him a holiday feeling. I always order from Melecom in Hawai’i. I hope I’m supporting their culture by buying from her shop, even a little bit. And I like her, Auntie Maria, and her staff. They are always helpful and always quick to do everything.
I wish we could visit Hawai’i this summer or anytime. Hawaii is the only place I can feel relaxed. I love that wonderful smelling warm air cuddling me. The feeling that I miss that island makes my iPod full up with Hawai’ian music.
