桜咲きはじめ＠元町

この間お正月だと思ったら、もう桜の季節になってしまいました。
元町の桜も咲きはじめました。
週末、どうでしょう？間に合わないかなぁ？















写真もまだ寒そう・・・？。

とはいえ、桜の下でお弁当ひろげてっていうのは
寒くてここ何年間かしていないのですが。
今年もきっとあと何回かお散歩してそれで終りかな？




Spring,

Spring has finally come! Well, I hadn’t been noticed till this morning. When I went for a walk, I found out the Cherry blossoms have already started to open. Well . . . I had to be inside to escape from the sand storm, so I was inside home for quite a long time. And then, my son caught a famous the-end-of-semester-flu, so I had to stay inside the house even longer. That was a bit like hibernating. My hay fever’s getting much better, now the same level as usual hay fever. While I was at home, I was doing the net surfing for a long time, and I found out a super duper cheap tour to Hawai’i in April. The date was perfect. Only that week we can take holidays.
I got really excited. Then I rushed to go to the travel agency to book the tour, not using the internet, because I wondered if I could make a request. But that tour was sold!!!!!! Noooooo, I missed that chance!!!!! Why I didn’t book by internet, I am a super duper idiot!!! We can’t afford the other tour or the other date. I thought it would be a good present for my sicky boy. Well, for me, too. Never mind, next time then.

Aloha Table@ベイクォーター

久しぶりにアロハテーブルへ。

前とメニューとか働いている人とか味とかちょっと、
いやかなり変わっちゃって、最近はご無沙汰ぎみだったけれど、
天気もよかったし、春も近いからか、自然と足が向いてしまいました。

何が特に不満だったかというとランチのカレーがなくなっちゃって、
今回もやっぱり、カレーは戻ってきてない～。
夜だと食べれるのかなぁ・・・

でも、ハワイアンミュージックと太陽の中食べるごはんはやっぱり
気持ちがよくって、やっぱり好きだなぁ、このお店。

ちなみにこの日は今日のプレートで
ポークチョップwithチリソース、ハワイアン風？
ポークがタマネギの上にのってて、スィート＆サワーソースに
パイナップルがちらっと入っている感じでありました。
ここは飲み物がセルフサービスで飲み放題なんでありますが、
これも好きなここが好きな理由かなぁ？

ああ。しかしここで前働いていたみなさん、どこへ行ってしまったのかしら？
前はフレンドリーで気がきいて、素敵なみなさんばかりだったのですが。
ある日急にみなさんごっそりいなくなってしまいました・・・。
違うお店つくったのかなぁ？

満開＠みなとみらい

美術館前のマグノリアが今年も満開。
あまりにいい天気でマグノリアの下にいると
まるで別世界。
自分がどこにいたのか忘れてしまいそうであります・・・

ビルの谷間の春。

お散歩の途中で見つけた春。
日本大通りと馬車道の間ぐらい。
今年はちょっとお花が小さめかな？


I got really shocked today. In front of Yokohama Porters, they’ve started to build something huge. Today, I checked what are they building, that was a 50F building! Why here?
A lot of old buildings are here, aren’t they? It doesn’t suit a high building. It said this building will have hotels, apartments, shops, offices, schools. Do they want to make Yokohama Hills or something? Silly things. Just making a high building isn’t a symbol of success any more, is it? It looks silly and not a thoughtful thing. Well, the other way to say it is, it isn’t cool!

after dark・・・

夜になって、子供が恐いから寝たくないと言っていたの。
変だなぁ～。テレビも見ていなかったのに。
とちらっとソファーを見るとこの本がころがっていた。

暗くなってから読むなって書いてある～。
なんでそれなのに読むんだぁ？？？

中をのぞいてみたらなるほどね、なんだか全体に
ぞぞぉ～っという雰囲気が立ちこめているらしい。

なかなか楽しませてくれるねぇ、向こうの子供の本は。
いや、私は読みませんよ。

オーストラリア

先月、今月は映画月間～。
３本目は「オーストラリア」

映画らしい映画。娯楽映画です。楽しませて頂きました。
また、ろくに調べずに行ったのですが、
長っっ。
これで終わりか、と思ったところから又話が始まり・・・
あそこで終わってもよかったのになぁ。

ただね、差別問題を訴えてる映画なんですが、
え～と、なんでかな。
日本兵に殺されてしまうシーンがあるのですが、
え～と、戦争で、え～と、日本が？？？なぜ、ここで？
オリエンタル風味を出したかったんだろうけど、
これも差別の１つじゃないかねぇ～？？？
歴史的な事もまぜている映画でこれはちょっとねぇ。

まぁ、シリアスな問題を深く見せている映画ではないんで
深く考えるのはやめましょうかね。
なぜ、砂漠を通ったのに化粧がそんなに残っているんだ？
日焼けしないのか？
とかね、いやいや考えちゃいけない映画です～。

オーストラリアに旅行に行きましょう、という広告も流れていたんですけど、
この映画みて、行きたくなるかなぁ～？？？
砂漠と牛って感じでしたが・・・
ははは。


Australia

When I saw the trailer of this movie, actually, I couldn’t understand the story of this movie at all. When I got to the theatre they showed us the advertisement of Australia. So, I thought this movie is the movie to show us how beautiful Australia is, off course it wasn’t. It is a Harlequin romance story with good old movie style. Well, this was the entertainment romance movie!

They put the racist problems of Australia in it, but they put a lot of ‘Jap is horrible’ tips in the story, too. So, I was confused, because movie said the people are equal, but also said Japanese are horrible. Well, they just wanted to add the Oriental taste on the screen, but I was very disappointed about that part.

One of the actor answered the interview, he said he has mixed children of his own, and he usually tells them, everybody is different, ‘different colours of the body’ are the same things as ‘different colour of the eyes’, so it is nothing. I was impressed, yes, that’s the same thing isn’t it?

テラッツオ＠元町

久しぶりにテラッツオへランチに行ってきました。
元町からちょうど港が見える丘公園の裏をまわるように
小さな階段を登っていくとあるこのレストラン。
ふだんは結婚式場がメインのようですが、
お気に入りのレストランの１つです。

写真を見るとわかるかな？
両側にレストランがあって、１つがイタリアンのテラッツオ。
もう１つがフレンチのオートルモンド。
平日はどちらもすいていていい感じ。

テラッツオでパスタランチ。
野菜がたっぷり。自家製フォッカチャ。
そして、オードブルの盛り合わせ。
コーヒー、アイスクリームがついています。

デザート、アイスかぁ～。とがっかりするところですが、
ここはアイスも自家製なのかな？おいしい～。
今回は塩バニラ。
ミルキーのような味で満足感もいっぱい。
オードブルもパスタも手をかけてあっておいしい。

横浜でランチでパスタと言うとどこでも同じような物が
でてくる事が多いんですが、ここはへぇ～って物がでてくる事が多い。
決して、１５００円なんで、豪華なものではないんだけれど、
きちんと手がかけられたものがでてくる。
最近はなかなかこういうお料理はでてこないもんね。

出かける直前にすごく嫌な事があって、かなり落ち込みそうだったんだけど、
おいしいお料理のお陰ですっかり帰り道には元気になっていました。


Favorite Restaurants

I wondered how many favorite restaurants I’ve got. This restaurant is one of them. Well, the location isn’t a fantastic, you have to use slippery steep stairs to get there . Inside of restaurant wasn’t great. It feels tatty and you can feel something of tiredness after the party. The view is ….. if you stand up you can see something, but recently, around the sea, they built a lot of buildings so it is not exciting at all. Service must be great? Well, much better than the family restaurant but it is not the sophisticated way. Why do I like this restaurant? Maybe the reason is, the food is not a stereotype kind. I am so tired of stereotype foods and the restaurants. If you order the pasta, Tomato sauce? Cream sauce? Then what’s on it? You can imagine before eating. The same way of serving, even the plates are the similar. Today I had the cream sauce pasta with minced winter veggies, with homemade foccatha. Appetizer? The turnip soup, fried pizza, scallops, e.t.c. I could feel where I am, and what I’m eating, and which season it is now. And I could feel somebody’s cooked these foods and he (she?) is enjoying making these foods. I like it. It feels like real foods like I eat at home.

春の予感＠日本大通り

いやぁ～。今年はひどい花粉症だ～。
今までもちょっとあやしかったけれど、今年はだめだ～。
頭も痛いし、喉も痛いし、
身体がしびれているような？神経までおかしいような感じだ。
目も結膜炎になる寸前。
毎晩ひどい喉痛で目がさめる。
身体全体が腫れているような感じだ。
こ、こんなに花粉症ってひどかったっけ？

あちこち調べてみたら、私とぴったりの症状が見つかりました・・・・

黄砂・・・・・？。

説明を読めば読むほど、ぴったりの症状だ・・・・。
読めば読むほど恐い事が書いてある～～～。
すごいなぁ～。
あんまりすごくて事実なのかどうか判断できない。
これが本当なら、
そのうちお花見なんてできなくなるんではないだろうか。
いや、外を歩けなくなる。
あんまり恐くて、読むのをやめてしまった。



さて、そんな私の調子とは関係なく、
春がもうすぐ。
見上げると芽が大きくなってきて、あちこちに緑色が見え隠れしている。

こんないい季節に外を思いっきり歩けないって・・・。
