Queen's Isetan

今日はハワイアンキルト教室の日でした。
最近疲れぎみでまっすぐ帰ろうと思ったけれど、
新しくオープンしたクイーンズ伊勢丹の看板が目にはいり、よってしまいました。

まずは、方向音痴の私、迷いました・・・・
ジョイナスの地下です。レストラン街をずーっと抜けていきます。
今なら人のいる方いる方にいけばいいかも。

見るつもりだけだったけど、ちょっとお買い物しました。
いい感じですよ～。
もともと、クイーンズ伊勢丹は好きなんですけど、ここは本当におすすめ。
ちょっと軽くごはんを食べる所がい～っぱい。
みんな入りやすそうな雰囲気です。
奥の方にフードコートみたいのもあったみたい。
わざわざ、自由ヶ丘で買っていたドーナツプラントも神戸屋キッチンもある！
食品はクイーンズ伊勢丹オリジナルの物が充実してる！
オリジナルはグリーンのラベルが目印です。写真だと、レモンソーダがそうですね。
このオリジナル商品なんだか楽しい品揃えだしお値段も安めです。
まあ、全体的にお値段はあれですけどね・・・・
探していたトマトペーストも買えたし。
本当はチューブのが使いやすくていいんですけど、最近全然見ない。買えない。
これも、大さじ１杯が１袋になってるので使いやすいです。
でもこれさえも最近家のまわりで買えなくなって困っていたので、助かりました。
Nuss fitはヘーゼルナッツとチョコレート味のスプレッド。ヌテラに似ている。
正確に言えば昔のヌテラに似ている。
私は前の固めのヌテラが好きだったので、これを見つけた時はうれしかった。
ああ、なくならないといいなあ。この店。
なんだかとっても楽しかった。

Queen's Isetan in Yokohama

Queen’s Isetan has just opened near Yokohama station!!!
I like this supermarket. Well, it is much more expensive than Cosco. But I can always find something different from the other shops. Maybe because Queen’s Isetan has a good selection of their own original series which have green labels on them, and they also have foreign stuff. Of course, you can also buy some foreign stuff at Seijyo Ishii (B2 of Lumine).
Queen’s Isetan is in B1of Yokohama Joynus. I suppose it is a bit difficult to find the first time. It is located right at the end of the restaurant street, though.
They have a several little eat-ins inside of the shop. They all have a bright and friendly atmosphere to go in. At the end of the shop, there is even a small food court. I could say the main good points of this supermarket are this eat-in stuff. I always have trouble to find a place to rest and have some bites.
And I mustn’t forget to say there are Doughnut Plant and Kobeya Kitchen, which are both my favorite shops. Now I don’t have to go to Jiyugaoka to visit them!! Both shop’s policies are to try not to use chemical stuff. So after you brought things from this shop, you should try to eat them quickly, then.

そろそろかな？

今日は暖かい。寒かった昨日とは全然違う。
今年の天気はどうしちゃったんでしょ？
そろそろ今年の夏中お世話になったサンダルともお別れかと思ったけど、
もうちょっといけそうじゃないですか？
このサンダルに靴下あわせてむりむり、まだがんばっていたのですが。
穴から冷たい空気がはいる～。
でも、なんといってもすべらないこのサンダルは本当に魅力的。
道路とかに水がまいてあったりしてもすべりにくい。
子供と手をつないでる時なんか本当に安心。
写真にうつっているのは、WaldiesとCrocsとコピー品かな？
コピーのはすべるんでけっきょく１回もはかなかった。
去年はいてたCrocsはちょっと固めのうえに私の足のサイズがちょうど
中間サイズなので好きだったけれど靴下はいてまでははかなかったなあ。
今年買ったWaldiesはやわらかめで私のサイズぴったりだったので
今年はず～っとこれでした。
実は、来年の分ももう買ってあるの。
そういえば、横浜ベイクォーターにCrocsのお店がはいってたなあ。
穴のあいてないのを買えば、もうちょっといけそうかも。

Probably, I like summer more than winter.
I feel miserable if it is freezing or raining. So, I feel strongly that I don't want to finish this summer yet. I know it doesn't help, but I'm still wearing Crocs with socks, to stop the winter coming! Actually, this year's sandals are Waldies. They are very similar to Crocs. Crocs are a harder material than Waldies, and the size is little bit big for me. My size has a better fit with Waldies, that's why this year is Waldies.
This year I saw a lot of Crocish sandals everywhere. Actually, some of them were much cheaper, so I tried buying some for my son. But that was a big mistake. The copied ones are slippy!!! But if they are going to slip, these sandals don't mean anything for me, though. One of the reasons I like these sandals is they don't slip easily. If my memory is right, I think they made these sandals first for canoes or sea kayaks. Because they have to move from water to land. See, I don't choose shoes just because of fashion. My boy never wore these cheap ones and his feet grew incredibly bigger in this summer holidays, and he completely broke the chance to ever try them again. Never mind, this always happens - so much waste - I might ask the shoe cupboard to look after them little bit longer, to make me feel better. Of course, the expensive Waldies, my son wore all through this summer!
I'm planing to go to Yokohama Bay Quarter to get another pair of Crocs for me, ones which don't have any holes on top. I think this works to keep my feet warm. Then my summer will never be finished!

上島珈琲店 横浜元町店

忙しかった日の次の日によく行く上島珈琲店。
私の小さな贅沢。
横浜元町には、スターバックスをはじめカフェがいくつかありますが、
ちょっと前にオープンしたここは今一番のお気に入りです。
元町のメインストリートだけど、かなり石川町より。
というより元町ストリートの最後、信号の手前です。
ここは、サンドイッチも飲み物もシンプルでおいしい。
写真のは朝食のチーズトーストかな？
飲み物もいろいろおもしろいのがあって、これは豆乳ミルクコーヒー。
砂糖じゃなくて、練乳がはいってます。懐かしい感じのシンプルなやさしい味。
えーと、昔、お母さんに作ってもらったような感じ？
内装もスターバックスより昔の日本の喫茶店といった感じで落ち着きます。
私はここで静かに過ごすと、忙しい気分や疲れた気分がリセットできる感じになります。

Ueshima Coffee-Ten
Ueshima Cafe is on the main street of Motomachi, Ishikawacyo side.
Ueshima is a chain cafe by UCC.
If you can say Starbucks is an American style, Ueshima is Japanese style.
Inside the cafe, there is a smoking side and a non-smoking side.
Sounds bad, but if the smoking side isn't full up, the air isn't so bad.
You can choose a variety of fresh sandwiches and cakes (soft fancy type).
In the photo there is a cheese toast for breakfast, and a soy-milky-coffee with Condensed milk.
I like coming here in the morning with my books, because I know I can have a quiet time.
You can see other people in the cafe who are thinking the same thing.
Perhaps, if you prefer Starbucks coffee, you can't have satisfaction from this coffee. But if you want to have a more simple milky coffee or basic simple sandwiches in a homemade style, this is a good place to try.

内容もどうしたらいいもんだか悩み中。
とりあえずカテゴリーを作ってそれで方向性をだそうと思ったけど。
あれれ。なんだかレストラン情報になっちゃう～。
でも、あとで見た時わかりやすいし、人にも説明しやすいしなあ。
書き方もさ、誰に書いてるんだかわからなくなってきちゃったよ。
なんか違う自分が書いてる？
は～。考えていてもしかたないよね。
なれるようにがんがん書いてみるかっっっっ。

EL TORITO/エルトリート・スカイビル店

横浜スカイビルのエルトリートのランチに行ってきました。
メキシコ料理を２８階で食べるのって新鮮。メキシコ料理だと、地下とか１階のレストランが多かったからかな？エルトリートはいつも新宿店に行くんだけれど、今日は横浜店におじゃましました。え～と。食事の写真はありません。ランチのオリジナルタコスセットを頼んで、気がついたら、メインのタコスをつかんで食べてました・・・・。タコスなしのお皿をとってもなんだかさびしいので写真はスカイビルのクリスマスツリーです。コロナがはいっているのはエルトリートの前でとったから。
自由ヶ丘にあったメキシコ料理の店もなくなっちゃったし、新宿のアルタのそばにあったところもまだあるのかなあ？原宿のはどうだろう。もうどこにあったのかさえ忘れてしまった。
新宿のエルトリートはいつも夜行くのですが，ナチョスとサルサが食べ放題でつい、いつも食べ過ぎ。横浜はどうなんだろう？ランチタイムだと１皿サービスされていました。新宿の方が豪華な感じかな？横浜はカジュアルな感じだけど、夜景つきですね。お料理はみんなボリュームがあって、アラカルトでとってもいいし、ランチのようにいろいろな料理が１皿にもりあわせているのもあって、選びやすいです。

EL TORITO in Yokohama Sky Building.
Oh, I love Mexican food so much. There used be more small Mexican restaurants in Shinjyuku, Jiyugaoka, Harajyuku. Nowadays, we don't have so many choices. EL TORITO is a chain restaurant, so we can enjoy it longer, we hope.
We usually go to EL TORITO in Shinjyuku at dinner time. JR Shinjyuku Station, South exit. In Odakyu Century Hotel Southern Terrace. Shinjyuku's one is gorgeous and bigger. I like it there because of this relaxing atmosphere. And we can visit a big book shop called Kinokuniya and also Tokyu Hands near by, after eating. (Kinokuniya has a big selection of foreign books). If you are really hungry, this is one of the best choices, because chips and salsa sauce are free to top up and happy for your tummy!
This time, we went to EL TORITO in Yokohama Sky Building at lunch time. At Yokohama Station, Sogo department side. That building is famous for the Limousine Bus to Narita airport. EL TORITO is on the 28th floor of the building, on top of Marui department store. I suppose there is a beautiful night view from this restaurant. Compared to Shinjyuku's one, this restaurant is much more casual. In Shinjyuku, there is a bar side and you can drink a shots, beer or cocktails. Last time we went to Shinjyuku, we saw a few British business men having a nice time after work. It reminds us a little bit of a pub in England, and we missed it.
If I should write one problem, when you order one plate set menu, the food is a little bit cold. They always do this. If you want to eat warm food, I recommend Fahita.
Sorry for having no photos of food. I was planing to take a photo of the plates when the food was coming. But when the time came, we were so hungry, we both grabbed our Tacos and ate them up! Oh well, It wouldn't be a good photo if it was just a plate without food. The photo is a tree outside of EL TORITO. See, there is a corona beer showing where the Mexican restaurant is. Lunch is all one plate set menu, including drinks, with reasonable prices. They serve one dish of chips and salsa sauce, even at lunch time.

Hello

最近、飛行機からおりて一番はじめに考えるのは、ここが、イギリス式なのか、アメリカ式なのかということです。私にとっては、イギリス式ならHello、アメリカ式ならHi。飛行機を降りた瞬間、一番最初に使う言葉ですよね。
以前はどこでもHelloで押し通しました。だって、だって、Helloの方が好きなんだもの。
イギリスだと、階段ですれ違った時、知らない者どおしが，ひかえめな声で　”Hello"と声をかけあう。旅行中でこころぼそい時、なんかあたたかい気持ちを分けてもらったみたいでうれしかったなあ。（あとになって教えてもらったのは、イギリスでは階段であいさつしないのはBad luckだからっていうことなんですが）Helloのサウンドって、口の中に余韻が残る。それもまたよくって、どこに行ってもHelloを使っていたの。
でもね、ハワイとか行って新しいお店にそーっとはいるじゃない？
それでHello~っていうとなんかなんか間があいちゃう。
ついでにお店の人とも距離があいちゃうようで、おどおどした気持ちがわいてくるの。
これはちょっと違うかもと思って、最近はお店にはいるとしっかり店員さんの目を見て、Hiっていうことにしました。Hiもゆっくり空気をふくませるように言うと、あれっ。Hi もけっこういいんじゃないかなって最近思いだした。

何年か前にマウイ島のカアナパリビーチホテルに泊まった時、まわりはアメリカの本土から来ている人ばかりでした。イギリスだと何回かすれ違ったりするとあいさつするようになるんだけど、ここはそんな感じが全然なくてちょっとさびしかった。むりやりホテルのスタッフにあいさつしまくって旅の充実感を味わっていたの。そんなことに充実感を求めていいのかって感じはあるけどね。
でも、あるカップルが目にとまりはじめてね。２人とも初日ですっかり焼きすぎちゃってまっかっか。ホテルのイベントでもいっしょになったこともありあいさつしあうようになったのです。
そしてそれは"Hi"でも”Aloha"でもなく
"Hello" でした。
イギリスの人だったんですね～。
ほっとした。やっぱりHelloっていいなって思いました。

CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN/カルフォルニアピザキッチン

ラゾーナ川崎のCALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHENに行ってきました。
平日だったけどたくさん人がいて、びっくり。
他のお店には開店前からお客さんがならんでいて、
あせっていったけれど、ここは大丈夫でした。
たぶん、ランチセットがないからかな？

Now, Calfornia Pizza Kitchen has just opened at Kawasaki Lazona.
It's by JR Kawasaki station. And Lozona is the big shopping mall.You can buy almost everything there.
Well, if you want the same atmosphere as the Calfornia Pizza Kitchens in Oahu (Alamoana Shopping Centre and Kahala Mall), it might be a bit different.
The restaurant is smaller, and there were lots of children when I went there at lunch time (on a weekday).
You know, you have to eat up all your pizza. Otherwise, if you ask for a doggy bag, they will give you a huge bag for just a few pieces of pizza! My husband had to carry it all the time, all through the huge mall! Actually it is a good excuse to buy something else to fill up this huge, huge empty bag!

日常の中で気がついた単語やフレーズについて集めていきたいと思ってます。
子供が覚えたことば、家族が日常で使っていることば。
私の家族の思い出として覚えておきたいことばです。
英語に関してはそれぞれいろいろな解釈があることと思います。
プロでない私が書いたものには申し訳ないのですが、
文法的、翻訳的に間違っているものもあるかもしれません。
できるだけ調べるようにはしているのですが。

ページによっては英語と日本語で書かれているものがありますが、
ごめんなさい。翻訳にはなっていません。
英語は英語、日本語は日本語で読んで頂けたらと思います。

トラックバックは受け付けていない時の方が多いかもしれません。
何度かあけてみたのですが、ほとんどが関係のない、Hサイトでした。
このブログは実は、私の子供も見ているので、それを取り除くのは大変な作業でした。
どのトラックバックが本当のトラックバックか見つけるのが大変だからです。
たぶん本当のトラックバックもその時間違えて消してしまったと思うの。
