'Cliffhanger' by Jacqueline Wilson
'I was jolly determined to be last.'
'Only because he doesn't give it a try.'
Cliffhanger,
My husband found this book at the secondhand book fair. The back of the front page got the name of child who used to own this book. I like it. In the middle of the book, there was a mark of a kind of chocky. I like it. The cost of this book is 100 yen. I like it indeed.
But this book can’t join one of my favorite books. Well, I don’t like the ideas of if you tried and get over some kind of sports; you’ll be all right. You know, like summer camp, or the adventure holiday in this book. When I was a child, I absolutely hate running, and exercise class. I couldn’t have fun, even a tiny little bit. My mom put me a swimming class or exercise class when I was small. I still remember how much I hated that time. But later I found out how nice it is to move your body, such as walking (definitely not climb up mountain with groups) yoga, Pilates, hula, e.t.c. That’s all I haven’t had experience when I was school.
I could have satisfaction from finishing reading a long, long book, finishing making knitting, drawing till I could say I finished. I like Jacqueline Wilson’s books, but this book pulled me back to a hard time when I was a child.
