地のし済の正絹の裾廻し付の色無地の着尺です。
総尺は３丈１尺６寸（１２ｍ）で反物巾は９寸６分（３６．５ｃｍ）です。
繰越５分（２ｃｍ）、袖丈１尺３寸（４９ｃｍ）で繰越が５分（２ｃｍ）ならば身丈は背から４尺２寸、約１６０ｃｍ、裄は１尺８寸５分（７０ｃｍ）袖幅は９寸２分（３４．５ｃｍ）までとなります。
この見積は仕立て直しの事を考えて袖下に１寸（４ｃｍ）の縫込み、前身頃の揚げに１寸、（４ｃｍ）の縫込みをとっています。
縫込みを最小限にしますと身丈はあと１寸（４ｃｍ）、裄は３分（１ｃｍ）程度大きくする事が出来ます。
またこの色無地に紋を入れるときは縫い紋になります。
この色無地は裾廻し付ですので、袷にするときでも、別に裾廻しを買う必要が有りません。
裾廻しの丈は１丈１寸（３ｍ８５ｃｍ）で布巾は９寸４分（３６ｃｍ）ありますので身長１６０ｃｍの方でも十分に使えます。
この色無地は単衣、袷のどちらにもなります。
単衣でしたら裏衿、居敷当か背伏せが、袷でしたら胴裏が必要になります。

地のし済の正絹の共の裾廻し付の訪問着です。
身丈は内揚を５分（２ｃｍ）とって４尺２寸９分（１６２ｃｍ）がいっぱいです。
身長が１６２ｃｍの方までの訪問着になります。
柄合わせは後幅８寸０分（３０.３ｃｍ）、前幅６寸５分（２４．６ｃｍ）衽巾４寸（１５ｃｍ）に染まっています。
ヒップが９３ｃｍ位の人に丁度良い柄合わせだと思います。
ただし脇縫いと衽の縫込みを調節する事で２分（８ｍｍ）程度でしたら身幅を調節出来ます。
それ以上に身幅が狭い方や広い方は背縫いと衽縫いの柄を合せ、脇縫いで柄をずらす様になります。
裄は１尺８寸５分（７０．１ｃｍ）までになります。
上前、下前の両袖付けと上前共衿と上前の褄下にも柄合わせがあります。
出来上がりから少し時間がたっている様な訪問着なので、ところどころに汚れや仮縫いの痕が有ります。

身丈は内揚げを５分（２ｃｍ）程度みて４尺４寸５分、身長１６８ｃｍの方までの長さになります。
身幅の柄合せは、後幅７寸９分（３０ｃｍ）、前幅６寸４分（２４．５ｃｍ）、衽巾４寸（１５ｃｍ）に染まっています。

反物の見積方は、反物を二つ折りにして、袖丈に１寸（４ｃｍ）の縫込みを足した長さの倍のところに待ち針をします。
袖下の縫込みは５分（2ｃｍ）から２寸（7.6ｃｍ）の範囲にします。
そしてそこから二つ折りをした輪まで計りを計り、その長さを３で割ります。
さらにその３で割った長さから４寸（１５.２ｃｍ）の３分の２の約２寸６分５厘（１０ｃｍ）を引いた値を、二つ折りの山からのところから計り待ち針をして、袖のところの待ち針と合わせて、さらに二つ折りにします。
するとこ一番上の布が約４寸（１５.２ｃｍ）短く三つにたためます。
４寸短いところが衿衽でその下の４寸長い二つ折りのところが身頃になります。
そしてこの身頃の長さが、いっぱいの裁ち切り身頃丈になります。

女物の袷の着物で出来上りの身頃丈を、肩からの身丈のヘラの寸法で説明すると、
裁ち切り身頃丈と裁ち切り衿衽丈から、出来上り身丈と衿衽丈の割出しは、
繰越が５分（2ｃｍ）で、将来の仕立て直しを考慮して前身頃の内揚の縫込みを２寸（7.6ｃｍ）にした場合、

裁ち切り身頃丈＝出来上がりの身頃丈+５分(繰越分)+３分(裾合せの縫込分)+２分(縫い詰まり分)+２寸(内揚の縫込み分）
：裁ち切り身頃丈＝出来上がりの身頃丈+３寸（11.4ｃｍ）

前身頃の内揚の縫込みは、０寸（0ｃｍ）から６寸（22.7ｃｍ）の範囲にします。

繰越が５分（2ｃｍ）以上の時は、
裁ち切り身頃丈＝出来上がりの身頃丈+３寸+(繰越-5分)　or　裁ち切り身頃丈＝出来上がりの身頃丈+11.4ｃｍ+(繰越-2cm)　
になります。

衿と衽の出来上り丈の割出ですが、衿丈の方が用尺が長く必要なので衿丈をベースに考えます。
衿丈とは地衿丈と共衿丈の合計です。
裁ち切り衿丈＝裁ち切り地衿丈+裁ち切り共衿丈

出来上りの地衿丈は衿山から肩山までの長さと、肩山から衽下りまでの長さと、流れの合計です。
繰越が５分（2ｃｍ）で考えると、
衿山から肩山までの長さ＝３寸１分５厘（11.9ｃｍ）

繰越が５分（２ｃｍ）以上の時は
衿山から肩山までの長さ＝３寸１分５厘（11.9ｃｍ）+(繰越-５分)

肩山から衽下りまでの長さ＝６寸１分（23.1ｃｍ）

流れは、衽下り＝６寸（22.7ｃｍ)の時
身丈のヘラ（肩から）＝出来上りの身頃丈+３分（裾合せの縫込み）+２分（縫い詰まり分）
：身丈のヘラ（肩から）＝出来上りの身頃丈+５分（2ｃｍ）

褄下のヘラ＝出来上りの褄下丈+４分（1.5ｃｍ）

流れ≒身丈のヘラ-６寸-褄下のヘラ+５分

衿丈は、
衿丈の裁ち切り＝（衿山から肩山までの長さ+肩山から衽下りまでの長さ+流れ+衿先の縫込み）+（出来上りの共衿丈+共衿の縫込み）
：衿丈の裁ち切り＝{３寸１分５厘+(繰越-５分)}+６寸１分+流れ+衿先の縫込み）+（出来上りの共衿丈+共衿の縫込み）
になります。
衿先の縫込みは５分（２ｃｍ）から３寸（11.4ｃｍ）、共衿丈は１尺１寸５分（43.6ｃｍ）から１尺４寸（53ｃｍ）、共衿の縫込みは５分（2ｃｍ）から２寸（7.6ｃｍ）の範囲にします。

和裁の裁ち切り丈とは出来上りの丈に縫込み分をプラスした長さをいいます、なので実際に裁断する長さはその２倍の長さになります。
裁ち切り袖丈＝出来上りの袖丈+袖下の縫込み　　：実際に裁断する裁ち切り袖丈の長さ＝(出来上りの袖丈+袖下の縫込み)×２　　
裁ち切り身頃丈＝出来上りの身頃丈+縫込み　　　：実際に裁断する裁ち切り身頃丈の長さ＝(出来上りの身頃丈+縫込み)×２
裁ち切り地衿丈＝出来上りの地衿丈+縫込み　　　：実際に裁断する裁ち切り地衿丈の長さ＝(出来上りの地衿丈+衿先の縫込み)×２

つまり

地のし済の正絹の江戸小紋の着尺地です。
総尺は３丈４尺（12ｍ87.9ｃｍ）です。
反物巾は９寸５分（３６ｃｍ）なので裄は１尺８寸５分（７０．１ｃｍ）がいっぱいです。
総尺は十分に有る場合は、裄寸法から、仕立てられる身長を割出しますので、この江戸小紋は身長が１６９ｃｍ位までだと思います。
この江戸小紋を単衣するなら裏衿と背伏せか居敷当、袷にするなら胴裏と裾廻しが必要です。
この江戸小紋は表地に裾廻しの色が透けないので、暈しと無地の裾廻しのどちらでも使えます。
また着物以外にこの様なお好みの羽裏を付ければ長コートや長羽織にもなります。

Do-ura and Suso-mawashi are required if it is lined kimono.
You can use either of Suso-mawasi of Bokashi and Muji for this Edo-komon.

地のし済の鮫小紋の着尺地の総尺は３丈４尺７寸（１３ｍ１４．４ｃｍ）で反物巾は９寸７分（３６．７ｃｍ）になりました。
この鮫小紋で仕立てられるサイズの上限は、繰越５分（２ｃｍ）、袖丈１尺４寸（５３ｃｍ）ならば裄が１尺８寸６分（７０．５ｃｍ）以下なら身長１７０ｃｍの方でも大丈夫です。
そして単衣するなら裏衿と居敷当か背伏せが、袷にするなら胴裏と裾廻しが必要です。（色が表地に透けて見えないので、暈しと無地の裾廻しのどちらでも使えます）
この様な横向きの鮫小紋は背縫いと衽付けと袖付け、上前の衿付けと共衿は柄の向きを揃えます。
そして上前の褄下を柄の山の方にするか下の方にするかの２パターンが考えられます。
またそのどちらにしても両脇縫いと下前の衿付けと共衿では山もしくはこの下同士の柄が向き合う様になります。
もし縫い目の柄を向き合うようするなら、全ての縫い目で柄を向き合う様に出来ますが、あまり一般的ではありません。

The length of cloth is 3 Jyo 4syaku 7 sun.
A dishcloth is 9 sun 7 bu (36.7 cm).
I assume Kurikoshi to 5 bu (2 cm).
I assume Sodetake to 1 syaku 4 sun (53 cm).
This Same-komon becomes even the size of a direction with a stature height of 170 cm.
If it is the kimono of unlined garment , a Ura-eri, Ishiki-ate, or Sebuse is required.
Do-ura and Suso-mawashi are required if it is lined kimono.
You can use either of Suso-mawasi of Bokashi and Muji for this Same-komon.

着物を縫う前に反物全体にアイロンをかける事を地のしといいます。
その主な目的は生地の地の目を整えながら、反物を詰める事で、生地の性質を考えて蒸気アイロンか乾式のアイロンを使い分けます。
アイロンのかけ方は反物によりまちまちですが、今回の丹後縮緬の鮫小紋は蒸気アイロンで蒸気をふかしてアイロンをかけた後に、下のアイロン台で蒸気を吸いながらもう一度蒸気アイロンをかけました。
すると長さが２尺（７５．８ｃｍ）の間で４分（1.5ｃｍ）詰まり、反物巾は９寸８分（３７．１ｃｍ）が１分（４ｍｍ）詰まりました。
地のしが適切ですと、仕立てた後の着物の狂いが最小限におさえられます。　
袷の着物で表地と裏地の伸縮率が大きく違う場合は、地のしによりその違いを少なくします。

単衣は着物地の他に広衿ならば裏衿、必要に応じて背伏せ布や居敷当を付けます。
袷は表地の他に裏地として胴裏と裾廻し（八掛け）が必要です。
技術的には単衣はくけが、袷はとじと留めが重要なポイントになります。

着物地は大きく分類すると反物と絵羽物に分かれます。
主に色無地や小紋、附下は反物で、訪問着や振袖、留袖などは絵羽物になります。
絵羽物とは別名絵羽模様ともいわれます。
絵羽模様とは縫い目を通して模様が連続して描かれたものをいい、振袖模様、江戸褄模様、肩裾模様、附下模様、絵羽羽織、絵羽コート、絵羽長襦袢などがあり、これらを総称して模様物といいます。
模様物は白生地のまま裁断して仮絵羽縫いをして下絵を描いて解き、染め上げてから絵羽縫いをしてあるものが多いですが、型友禅や附下など絵羽縫いをしていないものもあります。

反物は主に長さが３丈２尺から３丈４尺（１２ｍから１３ｍ）の着尺地と２丈６尺（１０ｍ）の羽尺地と附下地があります。
着尺地と羽尺地は染色方法により色無地か小紋になります。

色無地とは、黒以外の無地染めで絵柄のない物の事をいいます。（黒は喪服になります）

小紋とは、繰り返し模様の型染めの反物で、全体に細かい模様が入っている事が名称の由来で、訪問着や附下、等が肩の方が上になるように模様付けされているのに対し、小紋は上下の方向に関係なく模様が入っています。
染めの技法によって「江戸小紋」「京小紋」「加賀小紋」「紅型小紋」「絞り小紋」「更紗小紋」など多種多様な小紋があります。
京小紋とは、京友禅の派手な柄いき、と型染めを融合させたもので、単色染めで、絹しか使わない江戸小紋に対して多色染めであり、様々な生地を用います。
一つ一つの柄も江戸小紋より大きく、抽象柄より具象柄が多く、見た目が華やかな小紋です。
加賀小紋とは「京小紋」の影響を受けて石川県で作られ始めた小紋染で、色使いに加賀友禅の技法が取り入れられています。
また「江戸小紋」の影響を受けて作られた「加賀小紋」もあります。

江戸小紋とは江戸時代に諸大名が着用した裃の模様が元で、その後各大名家間で模様付けの豪華さを競う様になり、江戸幕府から規制を加えられた為に、遠目からは無地に見えるように模様を細かくした結果、非常に高度な染色技術が必要な染め物になりました。
代表的な模様として「極鮫（ごくさめ）」（紀州藩徳川氏）、「行儀」「角通し」（以上をまとめて「三役」という）「松葉」「御召し十」（徳川氏）、「万筋」「菊菱」（加賀藩前田氏）、「大小あられ」（薩摩藩島津氏）、「胡麻柄」（佐賀藩鍋島氏）などがあり、これら大名の裃の柄が発祥の江戸小紋を「定め小紋」といいます。
いっぽう、庶民もこの柄を真似するようになり、庶民の遊び心が発祥の江戸小紋を「いわれ小紋」と言いいます。
江戸小紋は型紙を使って染めるのが特徴で、この型紙は伊勢で作られました（伊勢型紙）。
上記の様に大名が着用していたという経緯から江戸小紋の中でも「定め小紋」は格式が高く、裃の柄の大きさも六段階あり主君に一番近い席に座る上位の家臣が一番細かい柄を着用し、下位になるほど柄は大きくなり、七段階以降の家臣は無地の裃を着用していました。
これらの事から「定め小紋」は無紋でも礼装になり、一つ紋付の色無地よりも格上になります。
「江戸小紋」の名称は1955年（昭和30年）に東京都の小宮康助氏が重要無形文化財保持者（人間国宝）に認定された際に「京小紋」と区別するために名づけられました。(参考、松網染工所)

附下げは、模様物の一つで附下模様に染められている反物の事をいいます。
附下模様とは本来模様付の方法で、反物のまま身頃、袖、および衿衽を区分けして模様を置き、肩山、袖山を中心にして模様が上向きになる様に模様付された加工着尺の一種です。
訪問着調に上前衽を主に模様付されたものを附下訪問着といい、肩山、袖山を中心に小紋柄を上向きに振り分けて配置したものを附下小紋といいます。
反物はその種類により乾式か蒸気アイロンで地のしをしてから仕立て、絵羽物は筋消しか、蒸気アイロンで地のしをしてから仕立てます。

Iromuji, small Komon, and Tsukesage are classified into a Tanmono.
A Homongi, a Fri-sode, and a tome-sode kimono are classified into Ebamono.

ビデオで紹介ているのは基本的な運針と三つ折りぐけと、縫いぐけです。
浴衣を例にとると運針は背縫い、脇縫い、衽付け、衿付け、袖付けに使い、三つ折りぐけは揚げ、脇、裾の縫込みの始末に使い、縫いぐけは衿のくけに使います。
運針とくけは手つきは違う様に見えますが、針を押し出す原理は同じで、針は親指と人差し指ではさみ、中指にはめた指貫に針のお尻を当て、親指と人差し指の第一関節を折り曲げる事により針先を押し出します。
この時針のお尻は中指のやや人差し指側に当たります。
ただ運針は針先を指先近くにしますが、くけはやや離し左手の中指の先に針先を当て、針先の出具合を感じながらくけます。
運針の上達具合の一つの目安は、針が曲がるうちはまだ運針が身についておらず、折れる様になると少し上達したと考えています。
