A Beauty and Dr.NO

Princess Kaguya, a beauty, is one of the famous characters written in the Japanese old tale "Taketori Monogatari(Tale)". It is said that all the characters in the tale modeled real persons. If so, it's a difficult question to ask to whom Princess Kaguya corresponds. Since in the last scene, the princess returned to the moon, her home ground.


The Lake Otome in Yamanashi Prefecture. "Otome" means "Maiden", a young girl with innocent pureness and beauty.


The Lake Otome is located right in the south of the JAL123 incident site. Notice that both sites are inside the Fossa Magna where is known to geologists the place the 4 continental plates concentrate.

山梨県にある乙女湖(琴川ダム)は、123便事件の全貌を知る上で重要な場所となってきます。それは、1985年8月12日の事件当日にここで何があったのかということだけではなく、日本史上、もしかしたら世界の人類史上において、この土地の果たしてきた役割が極めて大きいからというのもあります。

アポロによる月面着陸が無かったことはほぼ間違いないと分かってきましたが、何故巨費を投じてまでそんな嘘を吐かなくてはならなかったのか？それを理解するには、月とは何か、竹取物語が語られたおよそ1000年前に遡って考える必要がありそうです。
