韓国政府は8月20日、日本から入国する新型コロナウイルスワクチンの接種完了者に対する隔離免除を停止すると発表した。
韓国政府が、「9月ベータ・ガンマ・デルタ型等の変異型流行国家」の新規指定国に日本やペルー、トルコを含んだ。これらの国からの渡航者は、韓国入国後に2週間の隔離が必要となる。期間は9月1日から30日までの1か月間。 TRAICY
変異型流行国家に指定されている在外公館で発給された、海外予防接種完了者の隔離免除書の効力は、8月31日までとなる。

国が保全・管理する４８４の国境離島をめぐり、島外縁部の測量から半世紀以上経過している島が少なくとも２０島あることが２０日、政府への取材で分かった。海洋安全保障をめぐって中国など周辺国の動きが活発化する中、管轄海域を決める根拠となる国境離島の現状が十分に把握できていない可能性が浮上した。定期的な測量の実施と状況変化に応じた適切な維持管理は不可欠となる。
政府関係者によると、海上保安庁が今回測量した北海道新冠（にいかっぷ）町沖の節婦南小島（せっぷみなみこじま）のように手つかずのまま存在が確認できなくなった島も複数存在している。北海道猿払（さるふつ）村沖のエサンベ鼻北小島は昭和６２年に測量され、高さが平均海面から１・４メートルだったが、平成３０年に地元住民らが目視できないことに気付いた。
３００島は回答保留
産経新聞が内閣府総合海洋政策推進事務局と海上保安庁に４８４島の測量状況を確認したところ、今年４月、主に太平洋側の１６５島について回答があった。残る約３００島は日本海、東シナ海側にあることから中国や韓国などへの影響を考慮しているとみられ、「慎重な検討が必要でめどが立っていない」などとして回答が保留されている。
１６５島の所在地は北海道４０島▽青森５島▽岩手７島▽宮城２島▽茨城１島▽千葉２島▽東京８０島▽静岡１島▽三重２島▽和歌山６島▽徳島１島▽高知９島▽宮崎９島－。調査時期が昭和２０年以前だったのは東京７島、北海道２島、静岡１島の計１０島で、３０年代は北海道７島、茨城１島の計８島だった。
政府は同事務局が中心となって国境離島の施策を推進し、地図や海図上で無名だった２０７島に名称を付与し、所有者がいなかった２７３島を国有財産化した。保全・管理面では波や風など自然現象による浸食が懸念材料だが、地理的にアクセスが困難な島もあり、衛星画像での海岸線の状況確認などにとどまることも多い。
国連海洋法条約は、船の航行などで用いられる海図に記載した低潮線を領海や排他的経済水域（ＥＥＺ）の基線とするよう定める。低潮線は干潮時に最も低くなった海面と陸地の境界で、国内では海上保安庁が海図の作製や低潮線の測量を担っている。海図は海上安全が主要目的で国境離島などの小さな島は実際より大きく、目立つように海図に記載されているケースがあるという。

このため、政府関係者の中には「『島が存在している』という注意喚起が目的なので、島が浸食されても海図を変更する必要がない」「消失しない限り問題ない。消失したとしても周囲の島で基線が引ける」などの消極的な声がある。
領海やＥＥＺの海洋境界は中国による尖閣諸島（沖縄県石垣市）の領有権主張などで注視されるようになった
。海洋境界で日本と面する中国や韓国は資源開発などを狙った海洋権益確保の姿勢を強めている。日本は周辺国から日本帰属の島々について疑義を呈されないよう備える必要がある。 産経新聞

1- We start with the worst news we see today, Afghanistan. While it is easy to join in the finger pointing of who did what badly, the fact is there are real people whose lives are now perilously at risk.
How, you may ask, is this good news? The good news comes from the deep and abiding faith of many Christians in Afghanistan. Their devotion to Christ is uplifting and inspirational. They lead us by example. We ask that you pray for them in this time of turmoil; that their faith be strengthened to endure, survive and serve God.
Afghanistan is the second largest growing church in the world. Or, it was.

QUOTE: In early July, Afghan pastors and church leaders made a difficult decision. They decided to formally register their faith with the Afghan government. What an absurdity to register as Christians in an Islamic republic that prohibits a person from converting to Christianity!
Against the advice of many, these Afghan church leaders felt compelled, for the sake of future generations, to legally declare their true faith in Christ.
"What about our children and our grandchildren?" they said. "Someone should make this sacrifice so the next generations can openly call themselves followers of Jesus." They registered with the government, and we all prayed from outside, asking God to protect them from being rounded up and imprisoned the next morning. They were interviewed but not arrested.
This past weekend, we met in an Afghan/English church retreat. On the first night of the retreat, we learned that a pastor in Afghanistan received a letter from the Taliban: "We know who you are, what you do, and where to find you." By Saturday the Taliban were at his door, but he had gone into hiding. Praise God.
2- As we all know now, Washington, DC is fetid, putrid quagmire of corruption and graft. We know that those we elected, regardless of party, think of themselves before they think of us or their country. We have known this for years yet it grows more odious by the hour. What about that is good news?

3- Our hospitals are on the road to being massively under-staffed. Surely, no one can make this into good news.
It is horrible to think that at this time there would be a lack of care to sick patients. But, it is the reason that hospitals are under-staffed that we look to for our good news.
Not a lot, but ENOUGH, nurses and hospital workers have said NO to getting the mandated untested, unapproved, and ineffective Covid-CCP vaccine.
They all got fired. Hence, hospitals, that were already understaffed prior to Covid-CCP, are in worse shape.
We stand with these brave people who have lost their jobs to protect their freedom from government tyranny. This could prove to be the tipping point on the vaccine mandates.

Nursing home organizations concerned vaccine mandate may lead to staffing shortages
QUOTE: President Joe Biden announced a new vaccine requirement for many nursing homes Wednesday, but nursing home organizations are concerned that may drive away critically-needed staff. The requirement from the Biden administration applies to long-term care facilities that receive federal funding from Medicare and Medicaid.
All staff must be vaccinated, or the funding would disappear. The mandate could take effect as soon as next month.
"We urge and even beg all health care personnel to get vaccinated," said Rick Abrams, CEO of the Wisconsin Health Care Association and Wisconsin Center for Assisted Living (WHCA/WiCAL).
Despite supporting vaccinations, Abrams says a federal mandate for long-term care staff misses the mark. He's concerned that for people who've held out this long in the pandemic, a mandate will only serve to backfire. "We have employees who are dug in, basically saying, 'I am not getting vaccinated,' and a federal mandate will unlikely change their minds," Abrams said.

4- Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is a favorite of ours. He continues to display true leadership in thoughts, words and deeds. He is pointing out the horrible and distracted priorities of the Federal Government as led by Joe Biden. THAT is good news. You can not solve a problem if you refuse to acknowledge the problem. DeSantis faces problems head on. We are encouraged by his leadership and hope that it is highly contagious.

5- It is depressing to think about all that has happened with election fraud that has lead us to this dismal place.
The good news is that we are not alone. More and more polling indicates support for the Biden agenda and actions is tanking. Frankly, Biden has no loyal base.
This is good news because without support for his far leftist agenda, moderate Democrats and ALL Republicans can vote NO on the bills being pushed frantically through Congress now. It is Politics 101-How to help your opposition fail by not voting with them on anything!
Many of us knew his man was not capable of being the Leader of the Free World. He is suffering from a progressive brain disease.
He is losing support across the board. We hate to say "we told you so" but, we told you so.

Our good news is that we still have a forum and a way to communicate to you that this is out there, it is real and you must protect yourselves and family. The vaccines and the boosters are not addressing this and in fact may be the reason it is happening.
It is up to you to improve your own immune systems and research all the alternatives to care that do not involve vaccines, intubation and hospitalization.
