『アンミックスド・ステレオ vol.4』の続きです。
前回の実験ではアンミックスド・ステレオでノイズが激減しました。
なぜでしょう？
コイルというパーツをご存知でしょうか？
コイルは電気→電波、電波→電気というように
電気と電波を相互に変換する電子部品です。
普通コイルといえば、右側のようなものですが
左側もりっぱな１ターンのコイルです。
プリアンプ、RCAケーブル、パワーアンプの線路は
1ターンのコイルが形成されています。
この近くにトランス等のノイズ源があると
電波として空間を飛んでいるノイズを
電気信号に変換してしまうのです。
さらに悪いことには
そのコイルを形成しているＲＣＡケーブルには
音楽信号が流れているということです。
この実験でノイズ源としたトランスはCDやアンプといった
ほとんどのオーディオ機器に使用されています。
また、大きければ大きいほどたくさんのノイズを発生します。
パワーアンプに使用されている大型トランスは
深刻なノイズ発生源なのです。
実験では電線をカットすることで
コイルとしての機能を消滅させました。
そのためノイズが激減したのです。

In the experiment, the noise decreased sharply in the unmixed stereo.
Why is it? Do you know the coil?
Coils are electronic components which change electricity
and an electric wave mutually
like electric -> electric wave and electric wave -> electricity.
An ordinary coil is right-hand side.
However, left-hand side is also a coil of 1 turn.
In the track of a preamplifier, a RCA cable,
and power amplifier, the coil of 1 turn is formed.
A noise is changed into an electrical signal
when the noise source of a transformer etc. is close.
The music signal is flowing into the RCA cable which forms the coil what is worse.
The transformer is used for almost all audio instruments, such as CD and amplifier.
Moreover, such many noises are generated that it is large.
The large-sized transformer currently used for
power amplifier is a serious noise source.
In the experiment, the function as a coil was extinguished
by cutting an electric wire.
Therefore, the noise decreased sharply.
