またまた、４回目のメアリーさんの
ハワイアンキルトのワークショップへ。
いったい何回行くんだろうか。
でもね、私にとって、メアリーさんのワークほど、
わ～～。帰ったらキルトがしたい～～
って思うワークはないと思う。
今回はドームのキルトショーのあとだったこともあって、
いろんな商品があるある。
ワークも楽しかったけれど、
お買い物も楽しんでしまいました。
布に描けるクレヨンでしょ。
よくきれるはさみ。
かわいいステンシルの型紙。
ビーワックス。
シールはこのシールを作っている方が
メアリーといっしょに日本に来ててその方から。
もっとほしいものがあったんだけど
ワークショップが忙しかった事もあって
これでおわり・・・・
残念だわ～～～。
やっぱりキルトショーに行けばよかった。
あ。今年、忙しくって、疲れていて
ドームに行かなかったんだなぁ。
Finally, I feel like I want to make Hawaiian quilts again. These couple of years, after I quit my ex-Hawaiian quilting class, I really didn’t want to make any of these things. I don’t know why I felt bad for so long and so strongly. But I saw so many quilts were made just for becoming ‘the instructor’ of that class. I saw so many people were doing some tricky things to become ‘the instructor’. I felt like a kind of full up, I didn’t want to be involved in anything like that anymore.
When I took Mary’s workshop this time, I felt strongly that I still really like Hawaiian quilts. Middle of workshop, that feeling gave me a little bit of confusion. I felt like Mary always stands at the point of the corner of the street of my life. Maybe she always does right things and she is a thoughtfull person – what I want to be.
