実は、ズーラシアって近いわりには行った事がなかったのですが、
ついに（仕方なく？）行ってきました。
だって、動物園って・・・。
なんだろう。
動物を人間が見るために檻の中にいれちゃうっていうのが、
ちょっと引っかかる私でして、
でもそんな事考えてるとベジタリアンとかにならなきゃいけないので、
考えないように考えないように考えないように
行ってきました。
私って変？
動物園に行ったことがない子供っていうのもね、アレなので。
ズーラシアは動物園というよりも動物を保護しているという意味あいが
強いようで、普通の動物園にいるような人気者の動物はほとんどいないのね。
キリン、ゴリラ、コアラ、パンダ、などはいないのね。
かわりにいるのは
オカピ、ウンピョウ、ウーリーモンキー、ギンケイ、エミュ、オオアリクイ、
シロフクロウ、ダスキールトン、ドールなどなど。
私が小さい頃、上野動物園にはじめて行った時は、動物園って
ちょっと恐かったけどね。
あまりにも近くにおおきな動物たちが来るから。
今はどうなのかな？
でもズーラシアはそういう感じが全くないのね。
なんだか、動物図鑑を見ているみたい。
まぁ。今の子供たちは恐い者がないからどっちでもいいんだろうけど。
昔みたいに口あけて、動物をじっと見ている子なんてのもいないもんね。
We don’t keep a pet in our house. Well, because if I were a dog or some kind of animal, I couldn’t stand to live inside of a house and have a string holding my neck. I don’t want to rely on people for everything. I hate loosing freedom. If I can’t have freedom, I can’t understand why I’ve got a life. I think I need a reason to live. When I saw the pets, or animals inside of the cage at the zoo, I wonder about people doing cruel selfish rude things to animals. Why people can say we are better than the other animals. People have got a clever brain, but the animals never destroyed the earth. But if I think about things like this too much, I can’t live on the earth any more. So, I have to stop thinking about that. Maybe I’m thinking too much. I sometimes want to be a vegetarian, but I can’t find a reason why animals are not O.K to eat, but fishes are O.K. See? I shouldn’t think things like this, I’m going to loose sleep!!!
