日枝神社の山王祭の私の着物。My kimono for the Sanno Festival at Hi-E Shrine.

ドイツからワーキングホリデーで来日した彼女は先日、日枝神社の山王祭に自分で縫ったしじら織の着物を着て参加しました。
結構タイトなスケジュールで和裁教室にてほぼ一ケ月で着物を仕上げて袖無しの半襦袢を三回のお稽古で縫い上げ、着付け教室で二回ほど着付けを習い山王祭に行きました。
インバウンド（Inbound）にお勧めの着物道楽だと思います。縫製は運針の練習から始めて全て手縫いです。
着物のサイズは身丈は肩から5尺（189ｃｍ）裄は2尺5分（77.49ｃｍ）です。
会話は殆ど翻訳ソフトに頼りました。（英語でしました）
なせばなる、なさねば成らぬ何事も、を体験しました。

She came to Japan from Germany on a working holiday and recently attended the Sanno Festival at Hi-E Shrine in Akasaka, Tokyo wearing a SIJIRRA-ORI kimono that she sewed herself.

She had a very tight schedule, but she made the kimono at IWASA-WASAI-club in one month.

She then sewed a sleeveless HAN-JUBAN in three lessons.

She then learned how to wear a kimono twice at IWASA-KITUKE-club before going to the Sanno Festival.

I think this is a kimono hobby that is recommended for inbound tourists. The sewing starts with practicing stitching and is all hand-sewn.

The size of the kimono is 5syaku (189 cm) from the shoulder, and 2syaku5bu (77.49 cm) from the sleeve.

We used translation software for most of the conversation. (The language used was English.)

I experienced that if you try, you can do it, and if you don't try, you can't do it.
