また四衆を観察する
Observing the four assemblies
仏教修行に専念し出家した男子

Buddhist nun focused on ascetic practice
在家の男性仏教信者
Male lay devotee
在家の女性仏教信者
Female lay devotee
および天神、龍、鬼、神など
And heavenly beings, dragons, ghosts, gods, etc.
集会の人々の心
The hearts of the assembly
文殊菩薩にこう尋ねた
Then asked Manjushri and said
どのような因縁で
By what cause or condition
そして、この吉兆がある
And there is this auspicious sign
神秘的な能力の現象
Phenomenon of divine powers
大いなる光を放つ
To emit great light
東の方角を照らす
Illuminating the East
一万八千の国土
Ten thousand and eight thousand lands
すべての仏を見る
Seeing all those Buddhas
国とその世界が荘厳されている
The lands are beautifully adorned
ここに彌勒菩薩がいる
At this moment, Maitreya Bodhisattva
この意味を重ねて述べようとする
Wishes to reiterate this meaning
At that time
