Sinjyukugyoen
That’s amazing, that there is a kind of park like Shinjyukugyoen at the center of the city. You have to pay a little bit of money, but that little money keeps this park clean and beautiful. Ten years ago, you could even see a lot of mole holes everywhere. I like coming here and spending all day with coffee and a book. Now I’m living in Yokohama, so, this is really far. If I come here, I always miss this place and I want to come back here and I want to live in the city again. I know all the little back roads and I know how to spend a day. But city is still city. It is not convenient to live here with children. Sometimes, I imagine where are we going to live when my son is grown up. Are we coming back to the city? Are we going to stay in Yokohama? Are we going to move far to the country side where we can have a garden? Are we going to move to a different country? Now I even can’t imagine that my boy is going to be bigger than me, and going to go to school by himself, though. When I visit Shinjyukugyoen I feel strange to think about our future.
