エッシャー展＠横浜そごう

そごうのエッシャー展に行ってきました。
今回は子供といっしょ。

子供にできるだけ絵を見せるようにしているんだけど
どうなんだろう？？？
頭に何か残るんだろうか？？？
ちょっと疑問。

エッシャー展はハウステンボス美術館から
借りた絵が並ぶようだし、期待ゼロで行ってきたのよね。
でも、おもしろかった～。

彼の作品が版画でできているとは全然知らなかった。
というよりも、想像さえしていなかった。
版画って何回か作った事があるけれど、
あそこまで繊細につくれるなんて知らなかったなぁ。
銅版画だとわかるんだけど、木であれだけ
細かく彫り分けることができるとは知らなかった。

Today, we went to the exhibition of Escher. Yes, he is famous. So, I thought I knew his drawing well. But today I saw them, I found out I hadn’t seen his drawing at all. One of my friends said all the time that she loves Escher. Her drawing was really unique and original. But actually today I understand she was inspired by Escher very much. She used to make great new year’s cards with hand printing. I couldn’t understand why she chose the way of hand printing. But an answer was easy, because of being influenced by Escher.
I was shocked, I didn’t know most of his picture were wood printing. I didn’t know wood printing could show such a delicate touch. I was really impressed.
This exhibition was good, they showed by a kind of years. You can see how Escher was going to mature.
