They are the photographs which show the state of an international workshop, uitemate2013 held at Thammasat University, Bangkok. Thai researchers have already meda such displays by a cooporation activity with Chulalongkorn University.


There was the participant more than 100. These are states of the discussion in the workshop.


On the skill discussion, we tried to learn how to teach some skills.


The skill training course was carried out by Mr. Shinga who is a fire-fighter of Mitsuke City Fire Department and Mr. Tunmee who is a Ph.D. student of the Nagaoka University of Technology. Mr. Shinga explained how to teach uitemate skill in English, then Mr. Tunmee translated English to Thai.

国際ワークショップuitemate 2013

一般財団法人新技術振興渡辺記念会の助成により、11月10日ー12日にタイ　バンコク近郊のタマサート大学にて国際ワークショップuitemate 2013ならびにタイにおける水災害からの生還に関する教育の調査を行ってきました。

現代のわれわれの持ち物には浮力のあるものが多く、水災害により突然水に落ちたり流されたりしても、そういった持ち物の浮力により浮いて呼吸を確保することができます。わが国では小学校を中心に着衣泳として普及していますが、洪水の多いタイではどうだろうかということで、タイで水災害からの生還を目指した教育を行っている方々100名と実技と座学を交えてディスカッションしました。

その様子については、順次写真をアップしていきます。11月13日には、NHKの国際放送であるラジオジャパンにてタイで開催されている国際ワークショップuitemate 2013が世界に紹介されます。
