『American78s』はSPレコードに使用します。
当時、録音特性の統一規格はありませんでしたが、
アメリカ、日本の多くのSPレコードはこの特性で近似されます。
高域の補正を行わないのが特徴です。
『old AES』はAES(Audio Engineering Society)が1951年に規格化しました。
AESは現在のデジタルバランス伝送AES/EBUにも携わっています。
Capitol、Mercuryなどのレコードで使用されていました。
『old NAB』全米放送事業者協会(The National Association of Broadcaster)が1949年に規格化しました。
NAB規格は録音用テープの規格として現在も使用されています。
Westminster、VOXなどのレコードで使用されていました。

It is used for a SP record.
Although there was no common protocol of recording characteristics,
many SP records of the United States and Japan are approximated in this characteristic.
It is the feature not to rectify treble.
old AES:
AES (Audio Engineering Society) standardized in 1951.
AES is engaged also in present digital balance transmission AES/EBU.
It was used by the record of Capitol and Mercury.
old NAB:
NAB (The National Association of Broadcaster) standardized in 1949.
The NAB standard is used as a standard of the tape for recording still now.
It was used by the record of Westminster and VOX.
