『待つわ』-⑥
月影の下、ジーンとデイックは強烈な香りを放つライラック茂みの中に佇んでいた。
⑥デイックが彼女の体に腕を回した。ジーンは自分の腕が、殆ど腕自身の意思で、するりと彼の首に巻き付いていくのを感じ取っていた。少しの間、このようにして二人は佇んでいたが、やがてデイックが彼女にキスをした。彼女は目を閉じたままで、一瞬、高鳴っている心臓の鼓動を彼に気づかれたくないと思った。しかし次の瞬間、彼女の頬に、彼の心臓がドキドキと波打ってくるのが感じられた。（続く）
