The legend says that St. Peter , an apostle of Jesus and first bishop of Christendom , one day caught the fish on the order of Christ out of his mouth a gold coin . The imprint of his thumb and has remained perpetuated from generation to generation and the fish is always a big black spot on its sides ! That is what the Bible says ( eg Matthew 17 v 27 ) but the sea of Galilee is the habitat of this fish. Some say that it was after this fishery , that fish would have left this sea .. (from WIKI)
