ダールの'Danny'を読み始めた。
久しぶりに彼の本を読むと、涙がでるぐらい彼の英語はあたたかい。
いろいろな人のブログを読んでも、
いろいろな人と話しても、なかなか彼のようなあたたかい英語に出会えることは
少なくなったような気がするのは、気のせいだろうか。
そして、彼の書く力はあらためてすごいなぁと思った。
ほんの最初の１０ページを読んだだけで、
ダニーのお父さんのやさしさ、おもしろさが伝わってくる。
あ。この本はダニーという男の子とお父さんのお話です。
といっても、まだ読み始めたばかりなんだけど。
Last week, in one day, my son read the whole book of Roald Dahl’s ‘Danny’. He really likes this book. He looked so enjoyable, I checked inside of the book. You can see easily why he likes it a lot. Roald Dahl’s simple, good English is so beautiful, and his writing catches you and never lets you go. My son’s English is much better than mine now, he could read this book and he could feel a lot of things.
Good words are so powerful, words grab your heart and soul. I wonder if you are thinking why I haven’t written about Obama’s speech? Because I can’t understand why so many people are crazy about it. Isn’t it the famous story about the important people who have the good speech writer? I don’t know how much were his words or not. And I felt scared when I saw the news. African people, American people, Everybody believes their life is going to be completely changed. I felt like everybody was in the magic of his speech. I bet I’m going to talk about him 10 years later from now.
