今日は「ライラの冒険」を見てきました。
いやぁ、なんか動物なんかもでてくるし、
子供向け？って感じで行ったのですが
よかった～、うちの子供連れていかなくて～～～。
うちのはすっごく恐がりなんで、大変だったと思う。
小さいお子さん、恐がりの子は要注意ですよ！
ってうちだけか。
ナルニアとか好きだった方はとくにおすすめ！
あ。それも私か。
なんといっても映像もきれいだし、
お話もわかりやすいし、とてもおもしろかった。
たぶん原作読むかなぁ。
でもこれ原作難しいのよね。
裏にある意味もあるし。
Golden Compass,
Today, I went to the theater, ‘Golden Compass’ Oh, I like it, I like it so much. I like all the details of the things, such as the compass, the balloons, all the animals. They made this movie so carefully and cleverly, I was very impressed. The only problem was the translation. It wasn’t Natsuko Toda. A lot of people think her translations have got a big problem. But today, I understood, the translation of books and the translation of movies are completely different things. With Ms. Toda’s translation, I have plenty of time to watch screen but not today. I think today’s translation was good translation and correct translation, but I didn’t have enough time to watch movie at all. After the movie I heard a lot of people say they were tired reading the all writing too. I think if you can have enough information from the screen, they should cut the words about that. Like if you can see the person is talking to Lyra, I think you don’t have to write her name. If it was on the screen we will read it and spend time even though we knew that information already. Ms. Toda’s translation is sometimes using completely different words from the real script, but on the other hand, those words sometimes told us more information about the stories. I felt like her translation is more 3D; not flat. She is using words and time and eyes and brain, everything she can use.
Today, I have to listen English more than reading the translation, because I really don’t have enough time to read everything and watch the movie at the same time. I think I’m going to buy the DVD and watch this movie again, because I missed a lot of details of the screen. If you are the person who is just buying the DVD and watching the same movie again and again, it is not a problem at all. But I want to enjoy the movie 100% the first time so, it was a big problem.
