I too think it's impossible that the maritime defense force took such an easy mistake and this news must be interpreted as a fake performance that hides something unable to tell the public.

　海上自衛隊の艦船うんぬんというより、海のプロとしてありえない事故ではなかろうか。

【動画】座礁の護衛艦いなづま、損傷具合を調査

　呉基地を母港とする護衛艦いなづま（4550トン）がおととい、山口県周防大島町の沖家室島の南約2・5キロの沖合を航行中に座礁した。スクリューが故障して自力で航行できない状態に陥った上に、船尾の右軸スクリュー付近が岩などに接触してタービン油が流出した。

　損傷の状況はまだはっきりしないが、軽くはなさそうだ。事故から2日目も動かせず、海上で立ち往生が続いた。海自の運用上も由々しき事態だろう。

　最大の問題点はなぜ、危ない浅瀬を通ったのかだ。

　いなづまは前日まで広島県尾道市因島のドックで定期点検を受けていた。試験運転で乗組員とドック関係者の計190人を乗せ、伊予灘を南西に進んだ後に、現場付近で折り返して呉に戻る予定だったという。

It is expected that the high-energy reaction from the seabed they measured will be reduced in a very short time.

このニュースについて、元海上自衛官で、艦船乗務をしていた知人は次の様に語ります。

　“普通はない。狭水道でもない限り岩礁に近づく航路は選ばない。”

「海上自衛隊は何をやってるんだ！」と批判する前に、海のプロが危険な海域に近づいた本当の理由は何か、また自力移動できない程の損傷とは事実なのか、その点をまず疑うべきでしょう。

同様の任務は今後増えるだろうと私は予想するのですが、海自がそれに対処できるのかは疑問であり、せいぜい観測を続けるのみであろうと私は見ています。海のプロにとって大変な時代が訪れたとも言えます。
