昨日の懐かしいブログから早9年も経過しましたが、毎年愛用しております！

フランス靴其れもPARABOOTの魅力って新品時は不細工ですが、履いていけばいくほど素敵に経年変化
してくれまして男前が上がってくる事かなと思います。
よくPARABOOTの台田氏が、
（新品時は6割で人が履くことでPARABOOTは完結されるのです！）と仰っておりますが、
実際に履いてみて、なるほど！と思わせられますね。
GUERNYにしましても最初手に取った際は、

The appeal of French shoes, especially PARABOOT, is that they are ugly when new, but the more you wear them, the more beautifully they age and become more manly.

When I first picked up GUERNY,
此のハイトなども不思議！と思いましたが、実際に履きますと、此の抜け感が堪らなくなりますね。
これGUERNYの魅力の一つだと思いますね。
I thought the height was strange, but when I actually tried them on, I couldn't get enough of the relaxed feel.
I think this is one of the charms of GUERNY.
ウエルトはブラウンで縫いはノルウェイジャンになります。
当然ですよね。
The welt is brown and the stitching is Norwegian.
Of course.
PARABOOTのアイコンも鎮座しております。

ソールはPARATEXソールになります。
僕も9年間ヘビーローテーションしておりますが、未だ交換はしておりません。
PARATEXソールは足への当たりは柔らかいのですが、耐久性にも優れておりますね。
ソール自身を自社で生産しているだけありますよね。
（PARABOOTだけだと思います）
The sole is a PARATEX sole.
I've been using them for 9 years and haven't had to replace them yet.
The PARATEX sole is soft on the feet, but also very durable.
This is because they produce their own soles.
(I think this is only the case with PARABOOT.)
木型は、ネイビーバックスのSAUVIGNYと同じ木型になりまして、
The wooden last is the same as that of Navy Bucks' SAUVIGNY.
AVIGNONに近い木型になります。

シャンボードより甲の部分が低いので靴の中で足が泳ぐ事もございません！
ですから長時間の歩行には適しておりますね。
海外出張などにも最適な1足かと思います。

今年の1月のPitti UOMOにも林さんは履いておりましたね。

着熟しって抜くより締める方が難しくありませんので。

This loose feel is one of its charms!
And the chocolate suede tightens the ripening.
I think it has the opposite effect to the Trickers three brothers.
If you like suede, you'll like both ripening styles.
If you don't have much suede, I recommend chocolate suede.
It's easier to tighten the ripening than to loosen it.
