『超低域は有害？vol.8』の続きです。
有益な低域は50Hz以上、有害な低域は20Hz以下という理論の下
さらに迫力ある低域を再生するためにフィルターの実験をしました。
これをアナログフィルターで実現するために古いグラフィックイコライザーを使用しました。
このグラフィックイコライザーは30年程前にテクニクスで発売されていたもので
1/3オクターブで33素子です。
この当時グラフィックイコライザーが流行し
多くのメーカーから発売されていました。
このSH-8065は亡くなった祖父が使用していたもので
出番はあまりなくなりましたが、
今でも大事に保管しています。
20Hzで-6dB、80Hzで+3dbをベースに微調整して
『迫力のある低音』と『クリアな中域』が両立するポイントを探しました。

Useful bass is 50 Hz or more.
Harmful bass is 20 Hz or less.
Under this theory, in order to reproduce powerful bass, it experimented in the filter.
In order for an analog filter to realize this, the old graphic equalizer was used.
This graphic equalizer was put on the market by "Technics" about 30 years ago.
They are 33 elements in 1/3 octave.
At this time, a graphic equalizer is in fashion,
It was put on the market by many makers.
My grandfather who passed away was using this SH-8065.
Although it is seldom used, it is kept carefully.
It tuned finely to -6dB at 20 Hz, and +3db at 80 Hz on the basis.
The point which "powerful bass" and "a clear midrange" make compatible was looked for.
