ダウンロードするとこんなアイコンができます。

リバーブ（エコー）の設定は

JetAudioの上で右クリックするとメニューが現れます。

と進んでいきます。

お勧めはroom 又はstageです。

グラフィックイコライザーの設定は簡単で

レベルメーターの下のUSERをクリックすると

グラフィックイコライザーのタブを動かす事ができます。



多少重いのですが、実用上は問題ありません。

iPadで再生する場合は良いのですが

パソコンで再生するとなると

なかなか良いソフトがありません。

音質と使いやすさを考えたとき

使用できそうなのが『JetAudio』です。



JetAudioは、iTunesのような多機能なメディアプレーヤです。

音楽再生、動画再生、CDからのリッピングやMP3のエンコードもできます。

今回ご紹介するのは無料版（jetAudio 8.0.17 Basic May 04, 12 ）です。

もちろん、リバーブ（エコー）やグラフィックイコライザーの機能が

搭載されています。

英語版で日本語版はありません。

操作は判りやすいので困ることはないと思います。

There is the free version (04 in jetAudio 8.0.17 basic May, 12).

The function of reverb (echo) or a graphic equalizer is equipped.

It is an English edition. There is no Japanese version.

I think that it is not troubled since operation is intelligible.

「Fun, Fun, Funにエコーを効かせたい！vol.5」の続きです。

具体的な接続と調整の方法です。

音源はタイトルにもあるビーチボーイズのFun, Fun, Funを使用しました。

接続はこのようになります。



iPadの出力をUSBに変換し、MUSICAのUSB-DAC usb30iへ接続します。

usb30iはiPad等のタブレットPCでも使用できる真空管式のUSB-DACです。

iPadにアプリ『RADSONE』をインストールします。



エコーに関する調整は2箇所あります。

Sound Stage Depth / 6



グラフィックイコライザーも調整しました。



昔、ジュークボックスで聴いたFun, Fun, Funはとても自然なバランスだったと記憶していますが

CDを聴くと音質に違和感がありました。

今回この方法でジュークボックスの感じが少し再現できたと思います。

スタジオ録音の音源に0.29秒遅れた音を付加してやると

コンサートホールで演奏されている音になるのでしょうか？

デジタル技術を使うと、とても簡単に付加することができます。

例えば、iPhoneアプリの『Stage Pass』



このアプリには海外の著名なコンサートホールの残響特性をシュミレーションすることができます。



エコーが付加され、周波数特性も変化します。

アプリとしては面白いのですが、

高音質でナチュラルかと言われると・・・です。

そこで、お勧めのアプリは『RADSONE』



『Sound Stage Depth』というフェーダーを調整することで

サウンドステージの深さを変化することができます。



適切に調整されるととても自然な音質。

10素子のグラフィックイコライザーも搭載されています。



効果的なのはJAZZヴォーカル。

ライブハウスの感じをうまく再現しています。

特にヘッドホンで聴くときなどは、とても楽しめます。

そもそも、エコーとは何でしょう？

日本語では『やまびこ』や『こだま』といわれます。

500m離れた山に向かって声を出します。



距離は往復で1000mになります。

音は1秒間に344m程進みますので

2.9秒後に反射した声が戻ってきます。

同じ現象はコンサートホールでも発生します。



ステージ上で発生した音は客席後方の壁で反射します。

例えば、日比谷公会堂の場合、この距離は50m程ですので

往復100mになり、0.29秒遅れた音が聴こえます。

この距離や反射量が適切に設計されたホールが『響きの良いホール』なのです。

ではスタジオ録音の音源に0.29秒遅れた音を付加してやると

コンサートホールで演奏されている音になるのでしょうか？
