I suppose this series is the right level for my son. He’d already read all three books before I opened a page. I feel bit sad, my son’s English is much better than mine, and I’m relieved because his English, which is his first language, is growing and steady and strong. For the children, the language is the big part of their life, I felt. I think making children bilingual isn’t a good idea. Because most of the children don’t have enough capacity for two languages to the same amount. I meant two languages at the native level. Maybe later they can be. But not for the small children. Of course, some children are very good at languages. But I’ve never seen the children could do both languages perfectly. For the children, the most important thing is understanding one language deeply I think.
