久しぶりにけんちゃんと話した。といってもMSNでだけど。彼は、ニュージーランドでTOEICの学校に通ったときに出会ったクラスメイトで、大学を休学して留学にきていた。彼の英語に対する取り組みは、ホントに頭が下がる程で、スピーキングも良し、ライティングはネイティブの先生に「日本人が書いたと思わなかった！」と感心されるほど。でもその結果の前には彼の並々ならぬ努力があった。今日は、「就職の報告です！」という挨拶だった。彼が妥協しないことは知っているので、きっとその会社も彼の前向きさと努力で勝ち取ったものだろうと思う。入社まで暇なので、今度は中国語留学か何かを考え中と言っていた。ぬるま湯につからないけんちゃんの姿勢を思い出し、私も怠けてられないなあ、と思ったのだった。

I talked to Kenji through MSN today.I haven't contacted with him for a long time.He is my classmate of TOEIC corse in NZ and took one and a half year leave from university to study abroad.I respect his effort, his speaking was great and especially his writing skill made our teacher impressed.She said " I didn't think it was written by Japanese !!". I think he was at pains to studying before he got a good result.
He said to me " I have a report of my job." As I know he desn't give up easily(I think Sam is same as him),it could be much his effort to get that job.He also said that he was thinking about studying Chinese next because he would be free until next April. He made me motivated. I never give up ,either.
