　2月13日15時50分（日本時間14日午前5時50分）、上院でトランプ氏に対する弾劾裁判が行われ、トランプ氏が無罪と評決された。そもそも、弾劾裁判がでっち上げ、全くの茶番劇であった為に、当然の結果だ。
上院での無罪評決後、トランプ前大統領が先月、一旦退任後に新たに設立したオフィスから、以下の声明を発表した。

　トランプ氏は声明の中で、「これ（弾劾裁判）は我が国史上最大の魔女狩り運動の一部です」と延べ、「アメリカを再び偉大にする為の、我々の歴史的で愛国的な美しい運動（MAGA運動）はまだ始まったばかりです」と述べた。
　また、「これからの数カ月の間に、私は皆さんと多くの事を共有して、全ての国民の為に偉大な米国を実現する為、一緒に素晴らしい旅を続けることを楽しみにしています」と延べ、更に「我々の目の前には、多くの仕事が待っていますので、我々は、明るくて素晴らしい米国のビジョンを、まもなく届けるでしょう」とも述べて、愛国者である支持者達に向けて今後に国の為に奉仕する事を続ける意欲、志を示すと共に、期待を膨らませ得る希望を提示した。
