１０年以上前、MUSICAが設立する前のお話ですが、
私はあるフォノアンプの開発に携わっていました。
これはとても気合の入ったプロジェクトで
６種のフォノアンプを試作し、
ブラインドテストを行うことになりました。
原価が高い順にA B C D E Fとしますと
最後まで残ったアンプは意外にもAとEでした。
Aはすばらしいのですが、曲によってはEも捨てがたいとの評価でした。
結局Aは50万円を越すフォノアンプとして発売されました。
そしてEはさらに改良が重ねられpho30gdになりました。
オーディオアンプは部品の選定次第では、
１０倍の価格のアンプにでも十分対抗できる不思議さがあります。
The root of pho30gd
I was engaged in development of a certain phono amplifier ten years or more ago
(before MUSICA establishes).
This was a very large-scale project.
We made six sorts of phono amplifier as an experiment,
and did the blind test.
A price sets the highest amplifier to "A".
A price sets the cheapest amplifier to "F".
The amplifier which remained to the last was "A" and "E".
"A" is wonderful. However, depending on music, "E" is good.
"A" was further improved
and was put on the market as phono amplifier which exceeds 500,000 yen.
Improvement piled up "E" further and it was put on the market as pho30gd.
Audio amplifier has a wonder which can oppose even
the amplifier of 10 times as many prices enough according to selection of parts.
