アンプを作っていると
そこにつながるケーブルが気になるところです。
ケーブルには色々な「常識」があります。
「常識」では太い方が音が良いそうです。
ホントウなのでしょうか？
確かに太い方が伝送ロスは少なく、
アンプからの音楽信号を
そのまま伝えることができるような気がします。
そこで実際に聴いてみました。
ピンケーブルなどに使われる0.75スケア、
スピーカーケーブルに一般的な2スケア、
太すぎる14スケアを比較しました。
いずれも通常の銅線で
構造もより線という一般的なものです。
長さは1.5m。
スピーカーは16cmの2way。
アンプはムジカのint60です。
