2007-06-11 06:52:55 | Welcome to Yokohama

We were taking a walk. We just wanted to go out from the house and have a cup of tea. But near Starbucks, there is ‘Afternoon Tea’ they sell a lot of small things. I bought a new passport cover and a very small wallet and a cover for a mug. But that was a bad idea. After that, my son got a kind of mood where he wanted to buy something, anything. We don’t like that. He just wants to feel the excitement of shopping. I can totally understand that feeling. But it is not a good habit at all. So we had to come back home quickly. We walked back to home to made him cheer up. Pink flowers near Akarenga made me cheer up. They always do. I really like these flower. It reminds me my childhood. This tree was planted in my old apartment’s garden with the other trees which came from hot countries. They were planted so close together, and in the middle of the trees, there was a little space. You could be in that space even on rainy days. I used to be inside and listen to the sound of the rainy drops. When I looked up, I always could see those bright pink flowers.
